"A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. "The accommodation itself is very modern and centrally located. It looks like in the pictures. Unfortunately, I have to criticize the communication very much. We have informed in time when we land. We have received a phone number, which we should contact as soon as we land because of the suitcases. Unfortunately, no one was available there and also was not answered to our message. After a long wait and attempts to call the central office, we were told where we could place the suitcases. In...

"Schön hergerichtete Unterkunft mit herrlicher Dachterrasse (den ganzen Tag Sonne) und tollem Ausblick über Funchal bis hinunter in den Hafen. Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, da es ein ganzes Stück bergauf geht. Parkmöglichkeiten waren i.d.R. vor der Unterkunft gegeben (öffentlich/kein fester Stellplatz). Aufteilung gut (ein großes und ein kleineres Schlafzimmer). Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig. Die Küche befindet sich im Wintergarten der Terrasse. Gute Aufteilung. Würden wir wieder buchen."

"Perfect location. Bedroom was on the back and so was very quiet. Minor street noise (people talking) at the front but this was not a problem. Clean and well equipped. Easy communication and great to have a key pad for entry. Lovely to be in the heart of the old town. Would definitely stay again"

"Great centrally located hotel to stay in. You have everything one step outside your door. The staff were all helpful and nice. The restaurant right next to hotel has great food and the servers were all very nice"

"Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building...
