The air conditioning was not working at several parts of the hotel, including my room. They weren’t very helpful in that situation. They also charge me for a bucket of ice.

7 blocks to Paulista Avenue. Although it is within walking distance, we recommend taking an Uber as there is a steep uphill slope. There are few restaurants within walking distance. Convenience stores are also within walking distance. It is a safe place. The room has been renovated. Breakfast is also average. The internet is fast. The air conditioner is also strong. The staff are also kind.

Overall great stay! Room was perfect. Area around the hotel super convenient and very safe. Breakfast was not bad I've had better in another hotel nearby but it does the job and has some pretty great options. Overall I'd definitely stay again. Staff was wonderful!

The hotel is one of few options in the Oscar Freire area. It is a decent option but don’t have high expectations. The foyer and restaurant area is welcoming and in good condition but my room was dated and tired. The bedding had that clammy old feel to it, the paint was chipped, the drapes a bit damaged, the sink was plugged, and it was a generally old style 80’s/90’s decor and layout with single pane glass windows so there is outside noise. The good thing is that it is in a quiet area. All this would be fine, but presumably because of its location around the upscale Oscar Friere shopping district (a nice area for shopping and street cafes etc), it charges a higher price than a property of this nature would normally charge. If you’re OK with that, it’s not a bad option and oddly, despite these comments, I would stay there again. Just don’t have too high expectations. And, property managers, if you are reading this, please consider refreshing the bedding. It would make a big difference.

Loved that restaurants and shopping were all within walking distance. Also uber trips were easy and we were able to get to the various museums in the area.

Although this is a 5 start hotel, it needs a but of TLC. The bed was very comfy and the shower was good (could be better). The room was good, but could do with some drawers. However the sauna is useless. You have to go and switch it on, wait for it to warm up and when it has, it's still not hot enough. I ask for someone to turn up the temperature, but it didn't help. There is also no changing rooms for the sauna/pool just a toilet area. The pool was being rennovated while we were there.

Arrived the first night to find my room with bedbugs on the curtains, they changed me 3 times of room, but ALL of the rooms had bedbugs. The next day I asked for a refund of the pending night which they refused, instead they changed me again to a different room, at least this one seemed ok (or I hope it was). I really hope they take this issue seriously.
