"Loved everything about this property. Views and property were beautiful, rooms were spacious, modern, and quiet, easily walkable to a great beach (Praia do Porto de Mos), multiple pool options, and 10 min walk to access the boardwalk that runs to the lighthouse and then the string of beautiful beaches close by (Praia de Camilo, Praia da Ana etc). Very close drive to Old Town which was very charming and had tons of shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!"

"We had a longer stay of 9 days. The apartment was cleaned daily, dishwasher was in the room and was turned on by housekeeping. Daily new towels and blankets for the kitchen, shower and swimming pool. Reception was great. Breakfast was included but not too that nice. Coffee and tea were terrible. Location is about 15 minutes by car from the sea, Lagos 10 minutes, Portimao 30min, just perfect. "

"Gutes Frühstück, etwas klein für die Anzahl der Gäste; Freundlich, professionell; App. großzügig, sauber, auf Angabe (Aushang des Schildes) immer gereinigt, auf Wünsche eingegangen. Ein bißchen nervig war die Tatsache, dass der eine Pool der Kindergarten für Möwen war. Es war natürlich nicht der Lärm oder die Nähe zu den Tieren, im Gegenteil, aber der Kot war wirklich überall. Dann sollte man die Liegen und Flächen rund um den Pool bitte häufiger reinigen. "

"There is everything you need here. The accommodation has enough space to move around. The beach is right on your doorstep and the boardwalk within a few metres means you cann walk into the town in 20 minutes. Staff are very Good with any query or help needed. Our stay in May/June meant the traffic outside was very light and restaurant reservations were easy. Locals tell me this is very different in August, which is what you would expect for this location. We had a fantastic time and will return"

"Nice large apartments with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen… should have stayed here longer instead of leaving for Albufeira…"

"The staff was very welcoming and helpful with everything. We felt very safe and were able to walk to town and restaurants. The place was very clean with daily housekeeping available. The courtyard was very pretty and was a good place for our family to hangout. Our stay was very enjoyable."

"Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. "I think we had the best location for our vacation. Wake up to a view of the ocean, very quiet, not even much traffic noise, especially at night. Sounds of the ocean if you want, close the windows if you don’t! The boardwalk is a 5 minute walk, which takes you to restaurants overlooking the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. The only “better if” would be more communication prior to arrival on how to check in. Owner and his wife very friendly, available quickly if needed."

"This property was very spacious and roomy. If you open all of the windows there is a lot of great cross ventilation. The days were cooler for us, so we did not need to use the air-conditioning that much, but we found if we did try to use the AC, it did get the rooms very cold. There is a washing machine in the apartment but there is no dryer, so be aware. This apartment is located next to a couple of cafes and supermarkets, so very convenient, but if you want to be closer to the bars and...

"cette appartement est idéalement situé mais ne vous attendez pas au grand confort, le lit n'est pas top et tout est cheap, le système de réception est sans information sur le logement et après une première nuit très fraiche fin novembre, nous avons demandé une couverture et un chauffage d'appoint pour la salle de bain."
