Hotel Casa Alquimia

"This hotel was so amazing! The staff were so kind and helpful all throughout. From ensuring someone was going to let me in and do a very late check in at 3:30 in the morning, to being able to hold our luggage, everyone at the Hotel Casa Alquimia was kind, courteous, and helpful. I remember feeling very sad when we had to check out, because I was so grateful for everyone’s kindness. The rooms were massive: very clean, very comfortable, and very cozy. The location is also phenomenal and convenient to the touristic sites of Quito. Ecuador collectively is a beautiful country! There is no doubt we are returning and will certainly be coming back to Hotel Casa Alquimia."

"Great place to stay, the staff is amazing. They helped us with a very late check-in and airport transfer. Location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Super clean and breakfast was fantastic. Thanks for making our stay memorable. Yale is the best!!"

Las Terrazas De Dana Boutique Lodge

"From the moment we arrived at Las Terrazas De Dana, Marco and his team could not have done more to make our stay absolutely perfect! Such a personal service, caring, kind and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible! The room was lovely and spacious with a perfect bird watching spot on the veranda! Breakfast was plentiful and very yummy, as were the evening dinners in the restaurant. The walk from town took about 15mins along a dirt track, but this was easily walkable during the day, and a taxi was just $2 if you didn't fancy the walk. I would 100% recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Mindo, the perfect base for a few days exploring this amazing part of Ecuador."

"So happy found this gem in the Centro Historico. It’s located in easy walking distance to most of the sites of the Centro Historico. Miryan was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Her staff were wonderful and kind and the Hotel is very clean despite being historic. Breakfast (included) each morning was coffee/juice, fresh fruit, fresh eggs and local bread pastries. We stayed in a *spacious* “family room” loft room with lots of wooden access - our 2 kids got to sleep in their own beds in the loft which was much better than a hotel where they’d have to share a bed!.Despite being on a city street the room was very quiet with new windows. The hotel can arrange for cars and tours if needed and has a small gift shop in addition. We felt safe throughout our stay and walking around the Centro Historico while stores were open. Miryan gave us some small parting gifts to remember our time in Quito by. Would highly recommend this hotel to travelers looking for location and charm with good hospitality."

"This place was absolutely amazing.. I would highly recommend this place to anybody, especially if you’re a traveler with unique taste and don’t like staying in cookie cutter hotels…. This place has all the touches of any five star hotel… and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Staff was super professional and always willing to help with any situation and or resolution.. whoever owns this hotel is truly a gem."
