Rooms were a bit "industrial", and an unimpressive pool. Breakfast okay, not great. Very nice service, and close to subway-- all felt safe.

Great quiet location to stay.
Hotel Diego De Almagro ~ Providencia offers good services to their passengers at fair prices. Their rooms are comfortable and quiet as compared to other hotels closer to Providencia or Nueva Providencia , main arteries which represent the newer hupcup of Santiago's business, commercial and entertainment centers.Thus, its location is in the Commune of Providencia that happens to be a safe and well protected area of the city. Breakfast services are provided for an extra charge which is cheaper than what nearby cafes or restaurants charge. Breakfast food is great and plentiful, by the way. The hotel staff is very professional and English is spoken at the main counter. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I enjoyed staying at this particular hotel because it was within ten (10) minutes from Providencia' s centrum by foot.

Didn’t offer late checkin. Late checkout came at 25 or 50 percent day rate. Broken bathroom foot tap. Leaking ceilings. Poor internet. No iron in room. Good location walking distance to train, mall and restaurants but won’t stay here again. Leandro at the breakfast was always always helpful. Best thing about this stay.

The hotel feels a bit old but it’s well taken care of. Huge issues with the wifi. If you’re traveling for work and need a good wifi connection, this might not be the place for you. We had to constantly go and work from the lobby because wifi would be horrible in the rooms

Nice hotel, staff, rooms.
This was a lovely hotel with nice staff. The price was exceptional for the quality of everything , from service, facilities and rooms to location and breakfast. Only a very small suggestion. Could there be a bar open from midday through to late evening and possibly a kettle in the room.

This hotel has lovely rooms and is in a great location. However staff are not very friendly and there was issues with housekeeping not providing hand towels or a floor mat (also blood spots on floor from previous guest by the safe). Breakfast was a large selection of items but 3 hot dishes never change. The waiters clearing tables completely cleared my full coffee and half eaten breakfast three times in five days when I got up to grab a butter or juice, it was frustrating- they need to slow down and give it a few minutes.

Good location. Now the negatives: Did not experience good service in general Front desk should be more polite and smile a bit, at least. Restaurant personnel consistently ignored me. No help at all, not even to open the door at entrance or exit despite I was full of bags. I was totally by myself. The room was a bit dirty. The Gym was quite smelly.

Upon arrival and other days front staff was frequently not friendship. Good location near Costanera center. Inside the room, Air conditioning didn’t work correctly, no clock radio, low light inside bathroom, few hangers in the wardrobe. We stayed 9 nights and the floor of the room was never suitable cleaned and there was dust all over the room. Breakfast was regular but scrambled eggs were not hot and pancakes machine had problem. Exercise room with basic equipment but there was no treadmill.

Me gustó todo en general, buena atención, ubicación, limpieza, etc No me gustó la salida del estacionamiento, un poco estresante la salida por la eampa, porque hay que detenerse a medio camino, quizás la máquina para pasar la tarjeta debería estar abajo (antes de subir la rampa)

Great location, friendly staff, excellent complimentary breakfast. Only two issues: they do not provide irons or ironing boards. If you need something pressed, you have to send it to the laundry service. The only other issue is the hot water in the bathroom sink. It takes forever to warm up. This was my second time staying here and I had the same problem the first time. I find if you let the hot water run in the bath tub for a while first, you get hot water in the sink much faster. Overall, these two issue are not enough to prevent me from staying here again, and I'm sure I will!

We had a comfortable time here. The staff was very good & helpful. The room was adequate, small & no wash cloths were available in the bath. Best to bring your own soaps, lotions, etc., as they only provide tiny soaps & shampoo was ok. There was a tiny refrigerator full of drinks, that was their minibar. Only 1 English speaking TV channel w/NCI type shows. We brought our own movies. Brush up on some basic Spanish, some English spoken here. Breakfast was quite adequate, but they had the same things everyday so be creative if you’re staying for 11 nights, like we did. No coffee pot in the room. One weekday night there was a party going on somewhere until 1:00am. It wasn’t terribly bad until they continued HooHaa-ing ever so often. You can hear people in the hallways pretty easily & hotel doors slamming when you’re trying to sleep. We were vacationing so it wasn’t too bad, just annoying at times. Try to get a room w/a View of the city & mountains, they’re beautiful. Providencia is a very nice neighborhood to stay in. Convenience store & good restaurants very close by. We would recommend & stay again.

GREAT location and good size, comfortable room. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Good selection of fresh foods and beverages. Plenty of room in the dining room, seating always available. Only negative comment is that the hot water was inconsistent. Some days it was hot, other days is was just warm. Not a big enough of an issue to prevent me from staying there again.
