Terrible, hice la reserva por emergencia, nunca pude comunicarme con nadie del apart hotel, cuando llegue al lugar me indicaron que no podian pasarme ninguna llave porque nadie les habia indicado nada, llame infinitas veces y no me contestaron para darme una solucion, tuve que buscar otro hotel casi en el toque de queda

Appartement sale à notre arrivée et infesté de cafards. Nous avons informé le propriétaire que nous n'avons jamais pu rencontrer. Nous communiquons par whatsap et quand nous essayons une conversation directe il ne répond pas donc pas moyen de parler avec lui. Le premier jour il s'est juste permis d'envoyer, en notre absence, une personne pour changer le linge de lit qui était couvert des taches et asperger l'appartement de produit insecticide anti cafards, bonjour l'odeur en rentrant !!! Nous n'avons pas réussi à obtenir le changement d'appartement car soit il nous contacte toujours quand nous sommes absents soit il ne répond pas à nos appels. Pour couronner le tout, il s'est permis de prélever sur notre carte de crédit le montant de la location alors qu'il était convenu que nous paierons sur place en monnaie locale ou dollars. Nous n'avons pas de justificatifs ni détail de la somme prélevée et ignorons à quoi elle correspond, nous lui avons demandé, pas de réponse. Innocemment nous espérions une visite de la part du propriétaire et une remise sur le prix en raison du désagrément car nous avons du " partager" notre appartement avec saleté, Cafards et installations en mauvais état sans que jamais personne ait fait un etat des lieux pour le constater et sans avoir obtenu satisfaction. L'ensemble est plus que déplorable. Le deuxième jour il prétendait envoyer les amis avec qui nous voyageons dans un autre établissement deux rues plus loin pour louer leur appartement à personne

Nice stay even with riots outside the door

The hotel(apartment) is located in the center of Santiago. We visited in a period of protests and tasted the real life of Chileans ( teargas, riots, burning barricades, and the joy of celebration after presidents speach of defeat).as for the apartments themselves- everything you need to stay! The owner was very kind, and answered promptly when we asked, providing assistance ( in choosing excursions, in finding a rental car). Santiago - thank you we had a great time in a time of troubles!

O apartamento é excelente! Como o da foto, super limpo, localização ótima. Consegui fazer a maioria das coisas a pé, ou de metro, que era super perto! Tem mercadinho, padaria bem do lado. Wi-fi funcionando super bem, e água quente também. Recomendo e voltaria a me hospedar lá.

O ApartHotel é otimo, Limpo, Organizado, Cama boa e cheirosa, muitas cobertas, TV com Netflix, Wi-Fi super bom, cozinha bem organizada com eletrosdomésticos e utensílios, banheiro grande, secador, varal e banheira (que não usei porque NÃO tinha tampa do ralo pedi na recepão e não fui atendido) em resumo, muito bom local. TIVE UM PROBLEMA COM PAGAMENTO QUE COBROU NO CARTÃO, ONDE GOSTARIA DE PAGAR EM EFETIVO (acabei pagando as taxas absurdas do cartão) Reclamei e INFELIZMENTE ficou por assim, paguei e pronto!

Jättefin lägenhet med bra läge

Fin och fräsch lägenhet med allt som låg nära huvudgatan och en supermarket bara runt hörnet. Superbra. Personalen i receptionen är inte de som har hand om lägenheten du hyr utan det är en reception för ett lägenhetskomplex där inte alla lägenheter tillhör acero apartment vad jag förstod det som. De pratar bara spanska och tar inte betalt eller ansvarar. Vissa av dem är trevliga andra ganska otrevliga. De trevliga var väldigt behjälpliga men funkade bara för att jag talar spanska. Kommer en kille och vill ha betalt han knackar på dörren och det är han som ansvarar för din bokning. Stort minus är att poolen aldrig är öppen! Tips! ta hissen till 21 våningen, gå till trapporna och gå upp på taket och se solnedgången. Akta bara så inte dörren stänger sig så man blir utelåst. Tips 2, i en av lådorna i köket fanns kartor över staden. Vi märkte detta sista dagen. Tips 3 om jag inte minns fel står det inte acero apartment på huset utan kola efter gatunumret. Förvänta dig inte svar från kontaktpersonen på en gång man får whatsapp nummer men extremt långsam på att svara.

No geral foi boa, aconteceu uma coisa muito chata, enquanto não estávamos no quarto, o anfitrião entrou no quarto e trocou uma cama de solteiro por um sofá, nossas coisas estavam todas em cima desta cama, ele tirou tudo e passou para este sofá, eu questionei e foi dito que não precisávamos... Achei invasivo demais e desrespeitoso, havia pertences íntimos expostos na cama, poderia pelo menos aguardar nosso retorno. A entrada no quarto era por codigo.

I was only passing by Chile after coming back from Australia to Brazil, so it was a very short staying only for two nights. I am used to pay by credit card with in the site and had never to worry about payment in person at any place, so this rules about payment were not fine for me (although I was advised by email before the cancelation date). There is no service, neither reception (also pre advised) but he concierge help was fine. All apartments are non smoking, but they allow smoking at the balcony, what was terrible for me and my allergies. There isn´t air conditioner at the apartment only a heate, which was very needed in a 3° night. Summing up it was fine for the purpose and price.

Agradable lugar con detalles

Es un departmento bastatante comodo y en un sector tranquilo, bastante acogedor, estuve dos noches pero los ubicoa detalles que tenía es que hay cucarachas, el primer dia vi 3 y ya el segundo día como 10 y algunas bastantes grandes, por otro lado la ropa de cama se veía bastante usada, fuera todo estaba muy bien

The apartment itself was clean. Only thing lacking is heat but they gave us a space heater which was quite effective. A couple of things to watch out for though: 1. the guy at the front desk when we checked in does not speak English and was also not very nice when we tried to check in at 11 am - he kept insisting we come back at 2 pm even though our room turned out to be available 2. the check in process was pretty shady - the confirmation email Acero sends clearly stated that foreigners staying less than 60 days did not need to pay 19% VAT and foreigners who paid in foreign currency did not need to pay the VAT. However, when we checked in, we were told that 1) the email was wrong and that even if staying less than 60 days, we still needed to pay the VAT (we were only staying for one night), 2) that they would only take foreign cash because apparently their credit card machine only does Chilean currency, and 3) he entered an inflated exchange rate when doing the calculations (638 Chilean pesos per USD instead of the official rate of 628 Chilean pesos per USD at the time). Our original quoted rate of $48 all of a sudden ballooned into $57 for the night

Great apartment hotel in Santiago

Great Apartment Hotel in Santiago, Chile

Acero Apartment is centrally located with shops and restaurants nearby. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Acero Apartment to the Metro. The room is clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. I definitely will come back to this apartment.
