We have stayed at the Astro twice and loved it both times. There is a lovely garden with several sculptures and a park next door where you can relax in nature. We also dined at the Spinster Sisters and had an excellent meal. We would stay here again.

Such a charming and well-located spot! The decor and grounds are lovely, and the simple breakfast (especially the coffee) really hits the spot. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The mattress and pillows were unbelievably comfortable—better than many 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs, as some noise carries. With a few small updates—like adding a double lock (!), fixing the musty smell, and putting in blackout blinds—this place would be improved. Thanks for a great stay!

Cool motel, love its remodel, nice living room to hang out in if you need some more space, rooms are clean with nice bed, pillow, fridge, tv. I saw some reviews on it being louder, I could see how if it was crowded that could be, but we stayed on a weekday and it was not crowded, and silent. Right next to a nice park. Main parking lot was easy, and they have an overflow if needed.

Great Revamped Model - Recommended!!!

Great revamp of an old motel. Rooms are comfy and clean. Great fire pit. Walkable to the town center and other cool areas. Great breakfast restaurant across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this cute little hotel when we're traveling to Santa Rosa for medical visits. Got a textured top sheet that was a bit clingy this time, but the beds are comfortable, bathroom clean, and a nice continental breakfast awaits in the morning!

I didn’t have daily room service, so when I ate all the toom snacks, I didn’t really get the VIP daily allowance and was charged. But I did enjoy the cherries growing in their courtyard. Breakfast across the street highly recommended. Staff was nice. Bed was a queen and we are used to King. I do recommend staying here.

Personality plus in a central location

Had a great stay while my husband was a patient at a nearby hospital. Very clean, quiet and comfortable, and it was nice to have the option of housekeeping as often as you want/need it. Centrally located for easy access to shopping, restaurants, parks and hospitals.

It was clean, the staff was friendly, I liked the retro feel of the property, but the decor in our room was literally stuff of nightmares (a painting of a bloody, dead man who had been crushed by broken slabs of concrete). The staff removed the painting when I asked them to, especially as I was traveling with my two young kids. But that was highly unexpected and will honestly probably prevent me from booking here again.
Our stay was fine. Staff was very kind. Room was clean. But this enormous painting was on a wall facing the bed and was *terrifying.* I checked in with my two small children and quickly shuffled them out and requested the painting be removed. Yikes.
