"We had an excellent one night stay. Casini, the GM has done a wonderful job with this property and staff. The wonderful lady overseeing the front desk was cheerful and helpful upon check-in. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My daughters loved swimming in the pool and the automatic pancake maker At breakfast. "We recently stayed at WaterColor Inn to celebrate our anniversary and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the noise. Throughout our stay, we were kept awake by constant stomping from the room above us, furniture being moved, doors slamming, and children yelling. We spent most of our days out enjoying the area, so the primary purpose of our room was to provide a comfortable place to rest at night. Unfortunately, we got very little sleep during our stay. We also informed the front desk at check-in that we were celebrating our anniversary and were told that something special would be provided during our stay. Nothing was ever delivered or acknowledged, which was disappointing after it had been mentioned to us. Housekeeping was another area that fell short. While our bed was made daily, the sheets were never changed despite sand remaining in the bedding from our beach trips. As a result, we spent the entire stay sleeping in sandy sheets, which was uncomfortable and not what we expected from a property at this price point. The property itself is beautiful and the location is excellent, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Given the nightly rate, we expected a much higher level of comfort, attention to detail, and overall guest experience. While we rarely leave negative reviews, we felt it was important to share our experience for future guests and hope the management team takes these concerns seriously."
