"We stayed here because we knew the location was ideal for downtown Lisbon. The rooftop bar was also a big appeal. The staff in the main part of the hotel were fantastic, the rooftop bar staff were a bit grumpy especially when we started asking for photo's at 11pm :) Maybe they had had a long / tough day! Anyway, it didn't bother us too much. The staff in the main bar/restaurant were awesome and drink service at table-side reminds me of fantastic days gone-by! I missed the fact the Mundial doesn't have a gym and there are major upgrades and renovations ongoing. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't get one of the modified rooms but whilst ours was dated, it was very spacious and comfy with a nice view of Sao Jorge castle. We would stay here again for sure simply because the location is perfect for pretty much everything you want to do in and around Lisbon area. The view of the Castle from the bar is unbeaten!"

"The hotel is clean. The staff are kind and helpful. The location is only a kilometer from the train station and 100 yards from the hop-on-hop-off bus. Our room was big and we had a nice fridge. On another note, the hotel pumps in a perfume scent that is overwhelming as soon as you come through the doors to enter the lobby. Our room was "overscented" as well, I could taste it. Our room had no natural light. The windows opened into a 7 x 4 courtyard type opening. I felt very claustrophobic. "

"This is our second time staying at this wonderful property. The rooms, hotel, and the rooftop restaurant are 5 star quality with friendly and helpful staff. The location cannot be matched. Everything is walkable. No need for a car during your visit."
