"Hotel is walking distance to Naples central train station (situated just opposite side of the road) and close to Garibaldi metro station. Breakfast was good ,with typical Italian taste of food and fresh tomatoes in the morning and homemade cakes. Few coffe shops very close to the hotel. Staff helpful. Strongly recommend."

"Extremely worn down and not worth the money. The air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no pool access as it was closed. Very outdated overall - location ok — I will never come back."

We had to switch rooms upon our arrival as the first room we were given looked quite bad- it clearly had not been renovated for numerous years."

"Excelsior Hotel's historic past and fabulous corner location makes it a wonderful place to enjoy the heart of Naples. The rooms are beautifully renovated, some with a tiny balcony overlooking the bay of Naples, are lovely. The hotel's roof-top bar has my favorite panoramic view of Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri. A wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing moment after a day of touring."

"The room is small and old and this was shocking as the price is pretty high. The breakfast was rich with things that were not that tasty and the eggs were terrible. The team is not very nice I must say."

"We stayed in a King bed with sofa bed room. We had 4 adults sharing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The King bed was comfortable and bed sheets were soft. The sofa bed was also comfortable. The mini bar fridge was a nice addition since it was well stocked with drinks & snacks, 1st round free! Only negative about this room was the open shower. It was awkward figuring out who’s showering without someone peeking in. "

"Checking in was seamless and quick. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was quaint and modern but the view was overlooking the alley. Excellent shower and very hot. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner menu is limited but delicious."
