"The Tortuga bay suite is right by the street so you hear the street noise until about 10:30pm on workdays and about 11:30pm on a Friday. The air conditioner doesn’t work well. It makes a noise at night and is quite disturbing. With the many mosquitoes, we could not open the windows and it was quite a terrible experience to sleep at night. "This is one of the best properties in the city. The bathroom was the best I saw while visiting the other shops/businesses. The staff is great; they provide a home cooked breakfast everyday and it is a spread for only one person cooking it! Your AC works great, only the room is AC. The bathroom is open air. There is no elevator and the the rooms are either on the 2nd floor or 3rd floor FYI. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Galapagos. This place offered great luxury and enhanced our stay in the islands."

"What a wonderful hotel! It is a very central location and 5 mins walk to the pier - so easy to get to your day trip meeting points quickly. It is also located between 2 delicious restaurants. The staff is nice, friendly, and accommodating. The front desk staff offered great suggestions on where to eat, ordered taxis for us, and provided clean beach towels. The breakfast is a perfect start to the day - just $8 per person. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a mini fridge in the room and a wonderful balcony with a patio table. Highly recommend this place to all travelers."

Angermeyer Waterfront Inn

"We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Angermeyer, I can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect - the staff was wonderful (thank you David and Maria for being so welcoming throughout our stay!). The restaurant was delicious with amazing sea views including sharks and seals, and we wound up eating several meals there. They were kind enough to pack us breakfast to-go on days when we had early excursions, and helped us call water taxis both early in the morning and when we stayed out late. The rooms were nice and big and had lovely amenities, and our turndown service was such a nice touch. If you are worried about the location not being on the main strip of town, don't be - it was always super easy to grab a $1 water taxi, and there was a nice beach a short walk away. Hotel Angermeyer can't be missed!"
