"Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken,but we weren't told why and when we could use them. There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. "

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful! There is a beautiful pool, a thermal springs hot pool, a game room with pool and ping pong, and gorgeous grounds. The rooms are comfortable and very nice. The dining is nice, but the food is ok. Having said that, the dining in the area, including Panajachel, is only average. Very safe place. It is right by the lake. "

"First of all, I want to share that the property manager, Yvann, is amazing at what he does, and has one of the most pleasant and helpful personalities I've met in my travels through Lake Atitlan. He made sure to answer all questions and book transportation needed at different moments. Having said that, the hotel is a bit out of the way and has very thin walls for you light sleepers.
