"What an amazing hotel. It looks extraordinary from the lake, and the views from the hotel are incredible. We booked a suite with en suite and private balcony. It’s right at the top so many many many steps, but it was worth it. You need to fit and able to climb stairs to stay here, regardless of which room you have. We stayed 2 nights and got one clear day and one cloudy. If you get a clear day take advantage. Take photos, hire kayaks, swim. Our second day was cloudier. We walked for 5...

"What a magical place, a little cabin nestled on the hillside overlooking beautiful Lake Atitlan. From my bed I could see Volcano Fuego erupting far away. Be forewarned, it really is up a LOT of stairs, and the water is solar heated so on a cloudy day it’s a bit chilly. Staff incredible. Good delicious. Magic."
