My stay of six days visiting family was overall very pleasant. There was a high standard of cleanliness in the room, breakfast area and outside on the grounds. The foyer was comfortable and welcoming. It was good to see minor repairs and updates being taken care of around the building. Place us remodeled and clean. Good price for the area. Food was good. Parking felt safe. Over all good got stay. Two down side. Squeaky bed and we were on we Camino side so a bit noisy but still slept ok.

When I checked in, the night desk clerk asked if I needed “room service”. It wasn’t until later that I discovered he meant housekeeping. The room had a single hand towel, no bath towels and no shower curtain. The phone in the room did not work. The only saving grace was the day desk clerk who was helpful and customer oriented.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The outdoor patio on the second floor was delightful. Breakfast was ample and tasty. All questions were answered satisfactorily. Staff were friendly and attended our needs. Other guests were friendly. Proximity to Santa Clara University was advantageous.
