Walked in to check in. Counter person did not even say hello, acted like I was bothering him even when I asked questions like why he needed my card when I paid in full before arrival. I also saw a sign pool was closed and asked if that was still true and he was like yeah. Our room location is the only positive thing. Only two towels, hand soap dispenser does not work. Tried to call front desk and no one would pick up the phone? Probably same guy that checked us in. We only picked this place in the first place and figured Holiday In. Was a good brand but will never stay here again.

I liked The Thirsty Pony being right on the property. We were in Sandusky for a volleyball tournament and we were close to the facility.

Our fridge had a rotten smell where something spilt and never cleaned up. Fridge never got cold. Bathroom had a sewage smell. No heat or air was on in the room. Check in process was a breeze and very fiendly customer service.

Fun trip!
Very enjoyable! There was a states football tournament this weekend & I think the hotel handled it amazing ! The breakfast was delicious! & there was plenty to go around ! The boys loved the pool & it stayed clean throughout our visit ! The room was clean , beds comfy especially the pillows & the shower was nice & hot ! Would definitely stay again & it was a very enjoyable weekend Thank you to the stag you all were incredible & so friendly .

We always appreciate a stay at the Holiday Inn Express outside of Cedar Point! The breakfast is superb and the comfort in the rooms is unmatched. Not to mention the location close to cedar point is awesome as well. My only Toby complaint is that after midnight, you can no longer check in. This is a slight downfall when Cedar Point closes at midnight for their Halloween Haunt. Otherwise, great place to stay!

Nice room with a very comfy bed. Fridge and microwave in the room. Clock was broken and the body wash in the shower wasn't working as well. Very convenient location to Cedar Point. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good also and a nice clean area.

The suite was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 kids! The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the room did have an odor but wasn't intolerable. The beds were decent but didn't seem as big as an actual queen size. The breakfast was great and the pool room and fitness room were both clean.

Everyone was nice price was fair, breakfast was nice, wish I didn’t have to park behind the hotel. But I guess most people walk in check in move their car and then use the key to open the rear door.

Very convenient property. The room and hallways definitely could've had a little bit more TLC. Bathroom corners had hair and dirt. Around the beds and underneath furniture look like it had not been clean very well for a long time. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful.

People begging in the area was a turn off. But the Thirsty Pony made the stay enjoyable. I would suggest getting rid of the carpet in the rooms and go with vinyl flooring. The carpet was dirty in my room and the vent in the bathroom was disgusting.

We stayed 2 nights, bed was comfy, clean and quiet. Check in/out was quick and friendly. The breakfast was impressive! They had a pancake station, a variety of meats, yogurt, bagels etc. We absolutely will stay here again when visiting cedar point.

They show that they have EV charging but it’s only for Tesla ( they should have an adapter at the front desk so that everyone else who has 7172 ports could use the charger
