Le Panoramic Hotel is a wonderful, modern, clean, convenient hotel, for anyone visiting the village of Sancerre, in the Loire Valley of France. The property lives up to its name, as it is perched over the beautiful and mesmerizing Loire valley. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful, and the employees that I ran into spoke English, as well as French. The hotel also offers a breakfast, which I missed, but considering how wonderful the hotel is, I’m sure that the breakfast was wonderful too. The location is just a 2 to 7 minute walk to most parts of this historic village and its numerous superb restaurants. The Tourist information office is just a 2 minute walk, and the people there are also very helpful. I would be delighted to return to Le Panoramic Hotel and recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely town.

Very comfortable and exceptionally clean room with helpful housekeeping staff. The young woman in TASTE Winebar was particularly pleasant and helpful and enhanced what was already a very relaxing, comfortable experience drink wine, eating light food and sampling exceptional Cognac. I’m still in Sancerre and will be visiting TASTE again later this week with some guests. The hotel has been remodelled and rooms reburbished since I last stayed here a number of years ago and I couldn’t have wished for a more comfortable, clean, modern place to relax for a couple of days amidst the vineyards of beautiful Sancerre.

Best Staff Anywhere!
Comfortable, modern hotel with beautiful, yes, panoramic, views of adjacent vineyard. Very good breakfast, nice wine bar with great selections. But, what really set this place apart is the staff - warm, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Three of the nicest people I've ever encountered at a hotel all work here. Merci beaucoup to Aurelian, Catherine and Nathalie for the wonderful service!

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Clean rooms and felt very modern. Easy access to town square and restaurants/wine tastings. Breakfast was good. No included parking on site, but there is free street parking right out front.

Sancerre Visit on Honeymoon
Beautiful, modern hotel with amazing views of the vineyards and central location in the medieval town of Sancerre. Also, a very nice hotel bar and wine tasting room with many local options. Service from front desk was below average for an American, English speaking visitor, but I recommend staying either here or at Hotel Restaurant Famille Bourgeois on a trip to Sancerre.

The good: wine selection, great view The bad: low standards, starting with the TP, missing door number digits The ugly: the intention is not to serve, but to survive. Not that it is intrinsically wrong, just that it does not jive with the luxury standards this place supposedly shoots for

While we do not pretend to be "luxury" and that these days are maybe not the best to evaluate our hotel when all our services had to be closed due to Covid-19, we were quite surprised by your feedback about the lack of sevices. We didn't like the depressing black and charcoal grey in the interior of the room. However the facilities were good and the room was spotlessly clean.

Very good hotel and considerate staff. Breakfast was a little limited, as no hot products in offer, but maybe due to lack of staff. As restaurants in the area were also clearly suffering from the same issue.

We loved this hotel and can’t wait to return! It overlooks Sancerre vineyards from the bar, pool, and dining room. It’s a short walk from the Main Street in Sancerre and parking was convenient. We can not recommend this hotel enough - it was fantastic.

Wonderful hotel with great views
Staying at this hotel is a joy. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. You feel well looked after by the bilingual staff and the view of the vines from the bar balcony transports you to a calm and restful place. The pool is quiet and well tended. We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on the food but it is very central so you can wander around the town and find local eateries.
