The room was well-priced, albeit very modest and simple, but served its purpose well for getting a decent night’s rest before a longer drive the following morning. The staff were outstanding though, clearly waiting late to get us checked in, and being very responsive on WhatsApp with directions after we got lost in the dark. "Enjoyed our stay very much. Very well located hotel in an attractive setting on the coast and beach. Well appointed clean rooms. Beautifully maintained grounds. Lovely pool area and restaurant with views across the bay. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good base for exploration. Some points however to be aware of. Rooms and especially bathrooms are really small. We had an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. You could hear the conversations and snoring of the neighbours! Not sure if this is a problem in other rooms. Beach is quite dirty with seaweed and other vegetation. The hotel does its best to manage people wanting late check-outs which are rarely possible. They offer a cloakroom with single shower to use before leaving. It’s small and hot. However, they have no luggage storage room and so have piles of bags dotted around the reception, people opening them, going up and down to shower. It does not give a professional impression to people arriving. They should find a solution for a baggage store and keep all this out of sight. Also if not 100% occupancy, they should block a least desirable room as a courtesy room for showering."

"This hotel was a great place to stay for our family of 4. The breakfast had a good selection of items like eggs, bacon, croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal and fruits. The pool is clean and cool. The only comment is they don't provide a towel for the pool and you are not suppose to use your room towels. Given most people don't travel with their own travel, having a towel service would elevate their offering."

"Really lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff who provided a bespoke and attentive service. Breakfast was truly impressive - even though the hotel was closing down for the winter and there were not many guests staying this late in the season, the breakfast was still impressive and had everything we needed. Beautiful grounds, well cared for. Stunning view of the sea and nearby islands. Pool area felt private. Bedroom was a good size. Hotel is close to San Teodoro (but need a car, not walkable); a couple of small local beaches are walkable. The only downside is that the electrical plug sockets in the bedroom were old-fashioned which meant our modern travel adaptors didn't fit - even the adapter provided by the hotel didn't work! The ultimate question: Would I stay here again? Yes, for sure."

"Lovely hotel 5 minute walk to upscale marina with shops and restaurants with great options for dinners. Steam & sauna were great! Beach has lounges but off shore rocks prevent wading directly and further into the sea. Breakfast was mediocre. Even though breakfast was “included” the fresh orange juice and cooked to order eggs were an additional cost. At over $1,500 per night that was offensive. See attached photos of awful breakfast items on the buffet. Aside from breakfast being disappointing, it is a nice hotel, situated beautifully."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Residenze Gallura. Antonio was so helpful and went out of his way to make our stay 10/10, even coming last minute and providing a transfer service when we got stuck at the airport. He also kindly lent us some bikes for the week, which was a very thoughtful touch. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and functional. The location was also really nice, being a 5 min walk from the town centre, 10 min walk from the bus stop (highly recommend getting the beach bus and exploring other beaches!), or 20 mins from the local beach. All in all a great stay, would highly recommend!!"
