It was a cozy place, everything was fine, very clean and close to restaurants. the only thing they can improve is the pillows, like I mentioned it before I check out, the pillows were a little bit too small.

What I like the best was the property surrounding area, cause is close to everything , then the staff is so helpful and friendly, the food it’s so good, the place quiet and nice to be outside my room and do some paper work. Everything was excellent except for the room I was staying at… It has a very strong humidity smelling and the vanity in the bathroom was completely destroyed. But overall, I definitely go back to that place and highly recommended.

Overall ok, location is great, safe, quiet neighborhood. The property needs lots of updates, unfortunately it looks like they’ve started with the swimming pool, I was kind of looking forward to an easy swim prior to going back home. Please let people know pool is being remodeled.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The rooms smell really bad, I found a cockroach in the bathroom!! I was changed to 3 different rooms and still was unsatisfied with the cleanliness and the facilities overall. There is a river of drains right next to the property so that probably explains the terrible smell but the lack of cleaning is unacceptable. After one night in this hotel I could not stay here anymore and asked to check-out which they did NOT allow me to. I left anyway to another hotel and after 4 days of Expedia trying to reach out to the manager and ask for them to wave the cancellation fee the manager DID NOT ACCEPT THE TERRIBLE CONDITION OF THIS HOTEL. I lost all the money from the remaining nights WHICH I HAVEN'T USED. The hotel was not booked at all so I just think the management team from Hotel Santa Elena doesn't know a tiny bit about Customer Service essentials. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.
