Disappointing Experience Despite a Good Hotel
Cinco Hotel was a solid place to stay overall — clean rooms, decent amenities, and a good location. Unfortunately, our checkout experience completely soured the impression. They claimed that my girlfriend had stained three towels with makeup (two small and one large) and then proceeded to charge us $50, which is basically the cost of an entire night’s stay.
This charge felt completely unjustified and excessive. There was no prior warning or opportunity to address the issue reasonably. It came across as nothing more than an attempt to unfairly take extra money from guests. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially since the hotel itself was good.
I cannot recommend Cinco Hotel based on this experience. It’s a shame that their customer service and billing practices don’t match the quality of their accommodations.
