"I hated staying here, couldn’t wait to leave. It’s disgusting. The room was filthy and run down. The carpet was so dirty that the soles of our feet were black after walking across it. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. There was a musty odor. Air conditioner didn’t work, couldn’t get TV to work. Check in was very unwelcoming.
I am not a fancy hotel person and usually quite happy with a budget option. Not true here- I will never stay here again."

"we had water in the shower that ranged from cold to lukewarm at times but this ws sporadic. we called to have it fixed the day we arrived and they said maintenance would come in at 8am. we had to call back and remind them to send maintenance. he came and couldn't fix it. Then they had to answer to it. we stayed for two nights with cold water. on the positive side our room was big, it had a kitchen and the kids had a great time in the pool."

"The Evergreen is a jewel. Small, modern, comfy and overall clean. We especially appreciated the quietness. Our bed was comfortable. They don’t offer breakfast but our room had a Nespresso machine and the lobby has one also, as well as a flavored water machine. There is also a Peet’s coffee shop right by them.
On the negative side, we did have trouble navigating to and from I think because of their location or perhaps because we aren’t familiar with the San Francisco area. The shower temperature...
