"An older property but with modern amenities. Good breakfast and within walking distance of tourist highlights. Only complaint is the request for passport information in advance for which there was no need and no requirement."

"The website is a little misleading in that there is a notice that some rooms do not have an elevator leading to them. I booked a room that did not say no elevator service (second floor) and when we arrived, the staff was more than helpful in assisting getting our bags up to the room. I could have booked a room in the part that did have elevator service had I known the booked room did not."

"This is a beautiful hidden gem in an old Abbey! We loved the space of the room, cleanliness and the staff was so helpful with helping us with transportation to our cruise! The buffet breakfast and coffees were wonderful! I highly recommend!"

"The hedge at the driveway exit is very high, blocking the sight. It is not safe. There is a glass splash by the shower tab, about 2 feet wide. It is very difficult to turn on the water. There is no shower curtain, need to hide at the bathtub corner to take the shower so as to avoid splashing water to the floor. In general, the room is clean. The carpet is very clean. A very nice stay."

"A little out of the way but a beautiful clean hotel. Bar/restaurant were pricy (€5 soft drink) in relation to the price of a room. Can be walked but more likely you will want a taxi to get back to town. "

"We had a triple prestige room for my wife, daughter (15) and myself. There was ample space and the beds were comfy. The included breakfast was very good, but it didget busy towards the end of service. The pool is amazing being Olympic size. You do have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas, but that does mean they are available and not just covered in towels from 7am. But if you are planning several days around the pool the costs will mount up. The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre and a taxi will cost about €25 each way. There is a bus but it takes over an hour. Best to have a car."
