"Stayed in Cabana 4 for a week in January, room was excellent, bed was firm and comfortable. Staff on site were excellent and enjoyed the daily breakfast either sitting on the porch or at the tables set up by the pool. Location was great, casual and fun truck stop literally across the street and the always excellent rum dog a couple of minutes away. 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes and a fridge in the room for your drinks. 2nd time in Belize, this is a perfect, quiet, relaxing property with easy...

Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"I loved the privacy of the cottages & the access to the private beach. the pool area was also really nice. the staff was friendly & very helpful throughout the entire resort & for the entire stay. i also booked a birthday massage package at the spa that was amazing. Will definitely stay again ! "
"We loved our room in the jungle setting with a glimpse of the ocean from our porch. Beautiful resort, pool area, and beach, in tropical setting. So convenient to the town, restaurants and shops, yet serene with a great dock for snorkeling and diving activities. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome and relaxed. Saw a sting ray, and tarpons, as well as smaller fish from the dock. Loved the Hol Chan & Stingray alley tour. The guides were fun, professional, and made us feel safe; yet we saw a ton of nurse sharks and stingrays up close. Great location for snorkeling excursions. Pineapple restaurant served delicious lunch and we enjoyed the smoothie bar in the daytime. At night we had a glass of wine overlooking the water then hung out by the pool watching a fight that was on. Walked along the beach to other restaurants too. Great place to start out your Ambergris Caye trip if you plan on going north later, like we did, or stay your whole trip there. Great base for excursions and easy to walk into to town. We didn’t need a golf cart until we left the resort for northern Ambergris Caye. "
"The resort was great the problem is when you go to Belize you shouldn’t spend more than it cost to go to Grand cayman! They charged high prices for everything… I mean everything! Even ice for your room was expensive. Also there was really no beach to speak of at the resort and no where close to get in the water unless you go to secret beach which is super crowded. Super Over expensive. The pool was great, but I don’t go to the Caribbean to sit by a pool."
"It was great they had 2 pools... 1 of them on top floor with great view.
I liked that they didn't just come (early) for room service. We like to sleep in and we just dropped off the key when we wanted it done. Glad to support a hotel run by actual Belizeans rather than international owners. Nice central location close to water taxi."
