"We had a late checkin and communicating with the staff was simple, easy and, they were very responsive. The room was fine, a solid 3. We were there for one night and the room served its purpose comfortably."

"First of all it looked NOTHING like the photos. I took real pictures to put up to show this but not sure it lets me upload them… The beds and pillows were like rocks. Rooms tiny. We were all very disappointed and couldn’t wait to leave. The person who checked us in was behind a dark screen! Had no idea who I was talking to. But they were very nice. Maids were nice as well."

"Although we opted to stay 2 days here for all the fun and adventure. We could have stayed one and fit it all in . Such a stunning place to stay . Historical sites but it does not hearing or A/c and the beds are not for the faint of heart. The mattresses might have been as old as the ship jk but seriously if the mattresss where more comfortable I could have been able to rest and do more . That’s ok I’m 54 and it comes with the territory. I am glad we experienced it but I probably couldn’t stay another night there because of the low comfort level of the bed. But it’s definitely I must do once in your life."

"Worst night sleep ever! Was expecting street noise but not what sounded like persistent wood cracking at my door, pigeons cooing above my head and a loud fridge and thin walls. Unplugged the fridge and it started leaking because of the ice buildup. Asked to change rooms the next day and they said that they were sold out. Asked for a credit and they said no. First room they gave me, shower was leaking. Had to explain multiple times why I needed another room. Second room they gave me had the issues above. Also small wafer thin towels."

"We have been coming to Terranea since they opened. We have brought our families there so many times and it is always amazing there. The service was very nice although very slow at the spa. We didn’t get any service by the pool for two hours till I said something. We got a free upgrade, which was very nice however I was Shocked to see the patio furniture was beaten up with some chairs burned by the fireplace. It makes me a little sad that the property is not maintained as it once was."
