We really liked rhis resort only that the sofa bed cover and sheets were never changed out super dirty. I did call fronf desk and rheh sent clean one up. The slide is also only open until 4:45pm so kiddos weren't able to enjoy that. Resort is nice by mountains

This is an ideal location for getting around. Breakfast staff were great. Check in person took so long to check us in and then gave directions we couldn’t understand. La Jolla Shores Hotel
The staff are very helpful and nice! It is a wonderful location right on the beach! And you can walk to several places to eat if you don’t want to drive. Free shuttle is also helpful if you want to go further. It’s under renovation so can’t comment on the pool since it was closed during our stay ...

Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea
The staff was so friendly, the location was walkable to food and the beach. Our room was ok - we were near the expressway so very noisy but you get use to it!
