We arrived early and they were nice enough to take my luggage before check in time. When we came back, there was no one at the reception and I did not receive an email with the check in instructions, and I was not the only one. I tried to call them multiple time and got voice mail each time, they finally called me back and sent me the instructions. I had also try to contact them through Expedia before the trip but got no answers. The room and balcony are not as spacious as the pictures. The elevator looks great, but it’s sketchy and didn’t work half the time. The AC was loud, and it’s very not well insulated, we could was hear the other rooms. There was a room connect to ours by a door on the inside that we could see the light at night as well as the slightest sound such as a cough, talking or TV. The cleaning staff were nice and tried to help us. They did not seem to have any communication with management to answer most questions about our check in issues. I booked thinking I could hangout on the roof terrace, but it was closed… which was not indicated at booking, so I was disappointed. They did reach out by email asking how everything was going, they gave me a warm blanket and showed me how the shower works!

The area is a a little sketchy as there are a lot bars nearby. The security of the building is also not the best, when we arrived We were told that the opening glass doors had been malfunctioning. Therefore, the security guard would have to let us in and out, and then we would be closed in until the next person came in for their shift.

Just wrapped up a great stay at Olimpo Hotel & Suites and I’m already planning my return. The hotel sits in Miramar, one of San Juan’s most charming neighborhoods—think tree-lined streets, cozy cafés, and tons of dining and entertainment options within an easy walk. Parking was a breeze, which made coming and going stress-free. The location is seriously tough to beat: in just minutes you can be in Old San Juan, at Distrito T-Mobile for shows and restaurants, or lounging on gorgeous beaches. The property itself feels fresh and comfortable—quiet rooms, welcoming staff, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to extend your trip. If you’re looking for a base that’s convenient, relaxed, and perfectly placed to explore the city, I truly recommend this stay!

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay. There was no hot water in the bathroom during our entire stay. Even after we informed the staff, the water remained cold and we were unable to take a proper shower. In addition, the bathtub was constantly clogged. The water would not drain properly and would remain filled until the next day, making it impossible for the next person to shower. This was extremely inconvenient. When we made the reservation, we were happy to see that breakfast was included. However, the breakfast was extremely limited. just a few juices, some crackers, and coffee. It was far below what is normally expected when “breakfast included” is advertised. Additionally, there was constant repair noise coming from above our room, which made it difficult to rest. The only positive aspect of our stay was the staff — they were kind, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately, due to these issues, I cannot give this hotel a good rating.

Primero, personalmente no era igual a la foto, la cama pegada a la pared muy incomoda y si te movias sonaba la camana. La basura nunca fue recogida y la habitacion no estaba correctamente limpia. Por las ventanas le entraba mucho la luz, La relacion precio, estadia no va acorde.
