The pool is to small so we never spent anytime in it. Definitely not a place for a family with kids. Also, in order to watch tv the WiFi needs to work and it never did or you could sign in to your streaming channels but there might be fees for that. The internet connection was terrible. Other than that, it’s convenient to the beach and local restaurants.

There were so many mosquitoes and biting gnats inside the common areas and rooms that daily I would kill at least 3 or more insects. To access our room on the second floor we had to cross an outdoor area (we got wet when it was raining, even being inside the hotel). The cleaning staff were very nice and worked hard. The room had a musty/damp smell (we suspect that people smoked there) and I feared the rain would come into the room. The check in staff, on Sunday the day we arrived, were condescending when we asked about checking in. The man told us that check in wasn’t until 3:00 pm. The way and how he spoke to us, in my opinion, made it sound like we were dumb for not knowing. We were told to go wait in their lounge and during this time my companions and I were bitten multiple times, in less than 1 hour, by mosquitoes. This only became worse as these bugs were inside the bedrooms also. The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance from dozens of restaurants and from La Playita.

What I booked was not the room I received. We had no hot water. When talked to the staff the always oh the manager is going to get with or they didn’t speak English

The hotel didn’t look anything like the pictures. They do not give you washcloths to shower with so if you stay here, just bring a sponge or Lofa or washrag. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you’re on a budget, this is a great option. Front desk staff was very nice.
