"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"The staff was amazing from the front desk with Oscar and Michael to the housekeeping staff. You have access to the double tree hotel pool and hot tub next door which is a much bigger pool. The breakfast was excellent and they will make you an omelette if you request it the day before. The garage and parking is free if you have a car. Loved having a refrigerator and microwave in the room and the ability to cook on the stove. There is also a small market within walking distance. On Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm there is a complimentary social hour with wine , beer soda and small plate foods"

"Tuve una excelente experiencia en el Gran Hotel Costa Rica. Desde el momento del check-in, el personal fue muy amable, atento y profesional. La habitación estaba impecable, era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La ubicación es excelente, ideal para recorrer el centro de San José y conocer sus principales atracciones. El desayuno fue variado y de muy buena calidad, y las instalaciones del hotel estuvieron siempre limpias y bien cuidadas. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo a quienes busquen comodidad, excelente servicio y una ubicación privilegiada en San José. ¡Muchas gracias por hacer de mi estancia una experiencia tan agradable!"

"This holiday inn had the best free breakfast I have seen in a holiday inn. There were an abundance of tropical fruits with a lovely worker who took great delight in introducing the guests to all the offerings. The front desk staff were also extremely friendly and helpful"
