"We stay for a few days while in Lima to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel was perfect and the staff all the way from the doorman to the cleaning staff were excellent and very professional."

"The hotel was okay, staff was a little on the frigid side. Didn't go out of their way to please you. The breakfast was the same every day, not exactly appetizing. More like an extended version of an American continental breakfast. The gym was nice but I didn't try the pool. The bed was good but the pillows were lumpy. All in all not a bad place, just not great."

"The place is turning 100 years old next year so it has that old world elegance combined with some modern upgrades. Staff was engaging and knowledgeable, and attentive. And Eduardo was one of the best. He was very helpful. Rooms are clean and will appointed. They had a wonderful stay!"

"This is the fifth time I stayed at the Sonesta in San Isidro, A quieter location than Miraflores, this hotel is next to a park, safe area, walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants and shirt Uber drives to other excellent restaurants in Lima. What makes Sonesta a great place to stay is the staff. Everyone without exception are helpful, courteous and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Many of them are bilingual. Fabulous breakfasts! Unlike American hotels in the USA, Peruvians take food seriously starting from your first meal of the day. Will return again!"
