"Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is around 20 minutes from La Fortuna so car rental was needed. Beautiful secluded spot with a gorgeous terrace and small roof dipping pool/tub (villa cacao). Room had everything we needed and was very clean. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! "

"We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at the lodge. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The views were magnificent. The hospitality, decor, landscape, and the food are intentionally conscientious."
