"There were two things we found lacking during our week long stay. First, the food. More often than not the buffet stations were empty and the employees at the stations seemed to avoid you. The options were bland and for the live of toast….. get better toasters! Second was the evening entertainment and general activities."

"Overall, I would rate this resort about a 5/10 and unfortunately I would not return. The staff was definitely the highlight of the stay — everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Customer service was honestly 10/10. The food, however, was disappointing. I’d rate it around 4/10. The selection was very limited and overall the quality just wasn’t great. Not a lot of options. We expected more variety. Cleanliness was average, probably around 6/10. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but the pool area could have been maintained better. One of the biggest disappointments was that the kids’ pool/play area was closed during our stay, which was something we were really looking forward to for our children. Also, while I cannot confirm it with certainty, we do believe we may have been bitten by bedbugs during our stay, which was very concerning. We mentioned it to staff & they were helpful, they even offered to wash our clothes. Overall, while the staff was wonderful, the food, pool maintenance, and other issues made this a disappointing experience for us."

"Todo el hotel está muy bien, pero los meseros de los restaurantes no tienen ni la más mínima atención y muy mal servicio. Si vas en plan todo incluido, “se esconden” de uno. También se me hizo muy malo que cobraran $200 pesos para ingresar al gimnasio. Las instalaciones están bien, la comida es buena a secas, el spa se me hizo de precio accesible y de buen nivel. Fuera del mal servicio en todos los restaurantes, y del hecho que alguien defecó en la alberca y estuvo cerrada casi todo un día; el hotel está bien."

"I will start with the negative and end with the positive. Construction is way more than it was led to be. It’s advertised as closing in July for full renovation. There was no warnings when booked that there was major construction going on at this time. The day is full of construction noise and jack hammering of removing the patios of a section of the building and construction noise going on from 7:50am to 6-7 pm 7 days a week . They put on loud music in the morning by the building under construction at 8 am to try and tone down the sounds. . Alarms go off during the early hours between 2-3 am 7 -8 am every night . Pool decks are not very clean compared to other resorts I have been to . Maybe better maintained after renovations. I visit Mexico 4 times a year for 10 days at a time. Drinks could be better and more higher end liquor options for this resort level. There is some to choose from . Staff are amazing . Very friendly and willing to talk with you and get to k none you and remember your drink choices and always asked if you needed anything new drink. I liked that you can get as many towels you need by just giving room number. The lady at the towel hut was super friendly . Restaurant managers and staff always remembered my name and was super friendly. We met the operations manager and he always came to say high when we saw him and asked if we needed anything. He sent us chocolate covered strawberries and other goodies to our room . Food was good . I would try again"
