"Great staff, Great people and a wonderful atmosphere. Was a bit underwhelmed by the lovers package but outside of that just a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Location is awesome and the room upgrades are definitely recommended. The suite was great!"

"This is 44 acres resort, big and have tropical vibe, beautiful ponds, birds , fishes and turtles.. You are paying just for enjoying these amenities. Tennis court and miniature golf course are overrated. You do not have time to do these if you are doing sight seeing in San Diego. If you want to do any water activities around the bay, you have to pay for it. This is not inclusive of staying in that resort. be ware of it. Staffs are Ok. I did not get consistent service from them, some are cordial, some willing to do above and beyond. I, as customer has to initiate the greetings , then they greet it back to me. It has to be other way round. I am expecting "consistency" in this big resort. You are in the Hospitality business and I expect hospitability in every interaction with the staff. I rated your service as good but not outstanding. The resort need to work on giving the outstanding and memorable services."

"I was expecting a beautiful dream vacation based on the marketing and reviews. I usually stay at a chain hotel, i thought I would give the Dana a try hoping for a new perspective. Wrong! It was not as nice as advertised from introduction of the process by the most unengaging receptionist not giving any reason to be excited. Offered an upgrade right off should have been a big hint of the room expectations Sad to say I have not found that place yet that is not a chain...back to the upscale they are really upscale or at least honest about the low rate experience"

"I planned a weekend trip for our anniversary and chose this hotel based on a Google search, but I am extremely unhappy with the experience and will NOT recommend it. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that parking was not included. They charge $50 per night, along with extra fees not clearly shown on their website. While I paid it, this was just the start of the issues. The main problems were with the room (1143) Broken Toilet: The toilet would not flush. While maintenance came to fix it, the toilet made a constant, loud refilling noise for the entire night, which made sleeping impossible. Poor Shower Drainage: The shower did not drain properly, leaving me standing in a puddle of water while showering. We expected a nice anniversary getaway, but this was stressful, uncomfortable and not hygienic at all. The reason I’m writing this is because I don’t want anyone to go through this bad experience.
