"The location within a sanctuary is extraordinary BUT the 2 bar/ restaurants close about 6 and thereโs only the hotel bar/restaurant. So if you want a bit of an evening out you must drive. Also, you can park very early or late but literally thousands of people come during the day so returning to the hotel with a car is impossible. We visited in August, so may be different other times of the year. Hotel is beautiful and the sanctuary with the Basilica and grotto very atmospheric- We wouldnโt stay there again."

"amazing hotel, location, room, facilities, staff, beautiful breakfast , right on the beach, highly recommend not cheap but get what you pay for, parking a hassle tho but found somewhere eventually to park as they have limited parking, lovely town & great beach etc"

"The hotel is spotlessly clean and provides daily housekeeping. It's in a perfect location to walk to all the local shops bars and restaurants and has its own car park. Really nice staff who are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was OK but overpriced at โฌ11, when coffee and a croissant were โฌ4 in a local cafe. The rooms have ceiling fans which are good but they cannot be used overnight as activated by the lights. Lack of air-con was the only thing missing from a lovely little hotel in a great town."

"Unbelievably beautiful location! Mountains all around. Parking is challenging, depending on time of arrival, but that's the only complaint. Great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on site. You simply won't find a more beautiful setting for a hotel!"

"Itโs a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat. The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking. All in all we had a very memorable stay."

"Me gustรณ el hotel. El cuarto era grande y comodo. Buenas camas, buen baรฑo. El personal nos recibiรณ muy bien. Peroโฆ. En la noche, ya entrada la madrugada llegaron otros huรฉspedes al mismo piso. Debian tener dos o tres cuartos. Pero se pasaron por todo el pasillo entre risa y risa, hablando altisimo, corriendo y lo peor, tocando las puertas de los de mรกs huespedes, incluyendo la nuestra. Les escribi pidiendo ayuda al hotel y no hubo respuesta. Esos huespedes hicieron escandalo toda la madrugada y nadie del personal llegรณ. En fin, no dormimos ni con tapones en los oรญdos."

"Las Arenas proved to be the ideal location for us to explore Picos de Europa National Park. This hotel is also great for leaving the car parked and walking into the village for an evening meal and a drink at the end of the day. Plenty of parking spaces around the hotel and a little cafe 2 minutes down the road for our breakfast. Very pleased with our stay, we made a good choice."
