If you are looking for a perfect stay in Salzburg, search no more. It is absolutely amazing. Located in a quite street just 20-25 minute walk from Old town. Free parking on the spot, free breakfast. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Alex makes perfect omelette with veggies, cheese and bacon in the morning . Overall - totally recommended place to stay in Salzburg.

We had a delightful 3 night stay while exploring Salzburg. A pleasant 15 min walks gets you to the Old Town. It’s charming, picturesque, and busy. It was nice to leave for our quiet residential neighborhood in the evening. Iris and Alex, our hosts, are welcoming, informative, and fun. A wonderful diverse breakfast is served. We were glad we stayed here.

We stayed at Villa Verde in Oct 2023 for 2 nights. It was such an enjoyable experience. Alex and Iris were incredibly helpful and accomodating hosts. The breakfast was delicious with lots of different options available. The room was clean and cute- and they had options for reusing towels daily which was great. Also walking distance into city center which was great for our daily activities. We would absolutely recommend Villa Verde to anyone making a trip to Salzburg!

The place is nice and room is clean. You need have a car to get there and from/to the city. It provides free park space. Surrounding environment is great. Quiet and pretty. Great place for walking. The check-in is easy even we were late for in-person checking. I called the number and got a access code and then got in the building and room no problem. The owner is very friendly and offers free breakfast. Overall experiences was great and strong recommend!

Excellent choice, quiet area, close to airpoet bus No10 stop, bus 22 if prefer not to do the easy 10 minute walk. Email Iris for any clarification. Hosts are a delight, warm, helpful, welcoming, Alex preoares a perfect adequate breakfast selection. The rooms are clean, flowers, water, a choc on pillow, soft fluffy towels, & delightful bathroom amenities. Villa Verde is a ideal & delightful option 4 your stay in salzburg. They provide a excellent idiot-proof tourist map to!

A Comfortable Leafy Salzburg Suburban Stay
Villa Verde is a modem, comfortable venue in the leafy suburbs of Salzburg. The old town is easily walkable from this location which also has free on site parking. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing advice tips and lovely eggs for breakfast. A great stay and we’d certainly love to return.

This was a very enjoyable place to stay. The owner was personable, humorous, and attentive. The breakfast service was exceptional. We spent three nights here and if in the area ever again this is where I would stay.

Everything ticked the boxes for a 2 day stay plus the openers were friendly, personable and one of them was a rock start saying up until 6am partying with friends. Needless to say her husband covered for her the following day. Just so friendly, great stay, would recommend 😊

We stayed just one night. Wish we cudda stayed longer. Staff was super helpful in helping us plan our day to sights and save money doing it. They carried my luggage to my room. Room- super clean and comfy with chocolate on my pillow. They had a mini fridge with beverages if you wanted one after hours- on the honor system we took a bottle of wine. They make their own jams for bkfst. Custom egg order. The free parking was soooo convenient. I’m telling all my friends Salzburg was a wonderful place to visit and stay at villa verde!

Upon our arrival, we immediately felt comfortable and at home. A self service bar, local travel tips from our hosts and a fabulous breakfast just added to the homey feeling of our spacious rooms. A short 15 minute walk to the old town it is also in a great location.

Very pleasant and easy for single tourist
Took an extended day (two nights) to pass through Salzburg on my way home from a conference. I stayed as this very nice B&B, which worked out perfectly. It is just outside the main part of the old city (on the other side of the Fortress), in a nice quiet area, but within easy walking distance to all the main tourist areas, and close to buses that can take you to those more distant. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful; also, quite accommodating to my early departure -- breakfast is at 7 but I got some eggs at 6:30 to catch a 6:45 cab. Note that if you arrive after 4 pm you will need to call them when you arrive (they post their number) or arrange beforehand, but getting into my comfortable room was easy.

Awesome place to stay! Enjoyed spending my time at Villa Verde. Appreciated the fast and simple self check-in procedure when arrived, free parking, good internet connection and rich breakfast, owners are very kind and friendly, rooms are clean, spatious and bright! Also appreciated fruits and water offered inside rooms! Totally recommend it! You should just be aware that there are not so many restaurants nearby...

Clean and comfortable Salzburg B&B
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Verde for one night. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we desired. It was an easy walk to town and a short car ride away from the train station. The owners are a husband and wife team and they were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast spread was excellent and they had wine, snacks, and beverages available for purchase outside of breakfast hours. We loved the time we spent at Villa Verde and only regret we could not have stayed longer. We will be back the next time we are in Salzburg.

Walking distance to town
Alex, the proprietor greeted us with warmth and a great smile. He supplied us with a map indicating the highlights to visit in Salzburg. The info was on spot and the service highly appreciated. Beautiful clean room with a very comfortable bed. Enough space to undo luggage and plenty of storage. The ensuite was a little small but spotless. Breakfast included fruits, yogourts, a variety of breads and sweets, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals, cappuccino and decaf. Would you like some eggs? Alex will prepare your eggs as you like them. Overall, a wonderful experience, warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere.

Great B and B, best we've stayed in a long while. Hosts are great, rooms stylish and spacious, breakfast perfect and convenient parking outside the door. It is about a 15 minute walk to the old town but no hills and no problem in a quiet residential area. Extra effort made to include local and homemade breakfast ingredients.

Lovely bed and breakfast.
A lovely bed and breakfast. The huge room with a view of the garden. We were met by Alex and Iris and we chatted as if we are old friends. The breakfast was very special and the goats cheese yougurt was to die for. We enjoyed our stay. 20 minutes walk to the Aldstadt. We loved Salzburg.

Loved this place!
I love this adorable and comfortable little hotel. I was in room # 3 which faced the small street and parking lot, but it's a one way street and very quiet at night. It also faces a lovely garden in the front (see photo at night), with a bird feeder and I enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. The room is quite large with a small room between the bedroom and bathroom with a couch, a closet, a place for your suitcase and a full length mirror. I had a late arrival and the instructions for getting in were detailed and easy to follow. There was a jug of water and glasses and a bunch of grapes waiting for me on the table, and a little chocolate on the bed. I love little touches like this. Alex speaks perfect English and was very helpful with the late arrival instructions, booking me a cab for my early morning departure, and also I had left my adapter behind at the last hotel and he loaned me a very nice one. Breakfast is included and there are plenty of tasty options and variety. The bed was comfortable, room was perfect temperature, and shower had great water pressure. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away if you need a sandwich or snacks, etc.. I also enjoyed the artwork in the room and the whimsical deer artwork in the lobby and dining room. I would definitely stay here again on any future visits to Salzburg! I love little boutique hotels like this, especially when they are working hard to cover all the bases.

Very comfortable room. Exelent breakfast. Alex & Iris are every worm and give the place a very warm and hommy feeling (along with great trips about the city). Location is about 15 minutes walk to city center - there is a bus station in 2 min walk distance.

Great Place to Stay!
We stayed 2 days at Villa Verde and found it to be comfortable and located perfectly for our activities. It is in a residential new orchid, only 10-15 minutes walk to all the attractions and night life. The breakfast was great, with local goods, homemade items (many of which you can buy) and made to order eggs and coffee beverages. Yum! Alex is very attentive and great at making recommendations or giving directions so that we made the best of our time. Overall, we would highly recommend Villa Verde to anyone visiting Salzberg.

Very comfortable boutique hotel
We had the most wonderful welcome at the start of our 3 day stay here. The bed was fantastically comfortable, the room large and the bathroom lovely. We missed tea and coffee facilities but had our own with us so it wasn't an issue. There is an honesty bar which was great. Our stay was during a heatwave and the lack of AC was a challenge at 30 degrees, but as this was unusual I doubt it would be a problem normally! It took us 20 mins to walk into town, but again it was so very hot you couldn't walk fast and you could certainly knock 5 mins or more off that if the weather was cooler. There are several restaurants nearby if you don't want to eat in town. Breakfast at the hotel was first class. Overall a really excellent place to stay with delightful hosts and we would definitely recommend.
