The hotel was a bit farther away from the train station than expected, but it was in a very good location for walking to the old town section of Salzburg. Breakfast was good and the hotel was quiet.

The hotel was nice, 15 min walk to the center, very quiet and had a really nice relaxing area inside and outside the property. The bed was comfortable, the staff was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The air conditioning was appreciated during the hot weather. The hotel was in a convenient location to a variety of restaurants and attractions. Although the nearest metro station was closed for repairs, the next station was easy to walk to.

Great hotel

The hotel was a good 20 mjnute walk into the old town but it was a lovely walk along tthe river. The hotel was clean and modern with friendly, helpful staff.

Great stay

Pretty great stay. The rooms are superb, especially the mountain view ones. The beds are super comfy, the staff are lovely, and the hotel is in a good location for getting around. The only negatives were that the breakfast selection was a little disappointing, and if I was to choose my own soap, I probably wouldn't go with mint. All in all it's a great place to stay and I would happily stay here again!

This is a lovely hotel about20 mins walk down the river from to old town. We were lucky and had a fab view of the river from our room.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Excellent room on 5th floor facing river with great views. Clean modern room at a good price. Great location a 10 to 15 minute walk along the riverbank to old town Salzburg. Helpful staff and nicely decorated/layed out lounge and outside seating area.

Simply Lovely Stay

Great location, comfortable and clean room and helpful staff. Only issue we ran into was a bit of an interrogation about wether we had paid for the breakfast on our last day because the front desk didn’t give us a receipt after we paid; other than that great stay. Would book there again.

Comfortable

Lovely comfortable hotel. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water in shower. We were fortunate to have a view of the river which was great! Convenient to walk along river path into Salzburg in few minutes.

Small but perfectly formed

Loved being able to borrow an umbrella on a miserable rainy day! Room is small but perfectly formed, only thing lacking for me is a kettle with tea and coffee facilities! Good location close to bus links to get you to the airport and Halstatt. Old town is not a long walk either!

The property is well kept and staff were available at all times to answer queries. There was an issue with the size of the room on night one and no compensation as the hotel believe that Expedia misadvertise the size but they moved us to a King sized room (as booked) for night 2 and this was a lovely stay. I would recommend calling them before to confirm the size of room if 2 adults sharing.

Excellent too (river view 5th floor), very comfortable bed, shower, spacious. The only cons is that there is no water cattel for tea... This is a sub standard compared to all hotels in the area at this price range. (I stayed at dozens already). Indisnt have breakfast (extra 16 euros). Othwrwise highly recommended for comfort, as well as easy check in and out.

Pleasant hotel Salzburg central location

Pleasant hotel overlooking the river in central Salzburg and only a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Room was comfortable. No tea / coffee making facilities were provided in the room which was disappointing and unusual when compared to what other hotels provide. Small paper cups were only available for drinking water.

We were disappointed with our stay here. We realize this is a budget hotel, but simple things could make an improvement. Firstly, the name indicates it’s near the Mirabelle area, and it is not. It is a pretty far walk and the neighborhood does not feel safe, especially after dark. The room is in need of some updates, especially the pillows! They were awful- lumpy, flat and smelly. The bed very hard and the sheets thin. The towels were fine. Only one trash can in the bathroom , none in the bedroom. The staff was friendly.

Room was a bit of a let down

The hotel interior design downstairs was beautiful and that’s what made us pick it over others. What let it down was the lack of amenities for the price we paid. It was €208 euros for a double room with breakfast for 2 people for one night. There was no tea and coffee in the room. The room was clean and modern but basic. No iron and ironing board in the room to use, you have to get it from reception. There was only hair and body wash in the bathroom, no hair conditioner. I wouldn’t have minded so much that these things were missing if it was cheaper but for the price we paid I expected these to be provided. We stayed at the Radisson hotel for 3 nights before this one in Zurich which was cheaper and provided much more. We even had our own kitchenette. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price, maybe if it was cheaper.
