This property was so cute! The room was smaller than I expected but suit my needs as a solo traveler. The aesthetics were there and so was the comfort! How thoughtful that they place local treats on your bed as part of their welcome. As someone who is a little introverted it was so convenient that they had nightly entertainment right upstairs on their rooftop and a restaurant below. If you are slightly hesitant to explore the area alone at night, these options were very convenient. Please feel free to explore the area as the beach is within walking distance and the area felt safe. The hotel staff that greeted me were beyond accommodating despite the fact I did not speak Portuguese.

Very nice place. Friendly staff. Even though i booked a room for 2 people, i was not allowed to let a friend stay over as this was hotel policy. When I asked to read this policy, it did not exist. Very strange and not “standard” at all. On top of that, not all standard rooms have windows!! This is not clear from the description. I decided to go to another hotel for these reasons and got a full refund.

A special place.

Comfortable and clean room. Rather small but cosy. Staff are simply the epitome of Bahia friendliness. Polite and courteous. Breakfast is delicious.

This hotel is amazing. It’s modern and very clean. The personnel are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We had a few meals at the Canto restaurant and we loved every bite, their food was so tasty, really delicious.

The rooms were EXTREMELY SMALL, but I finally was given a larger room, but with no window. The rooms were not swept and cleaned well daily. On occasion, the towels were not completely changed daily. The first night had loud music until 03:00 in the morning. After complaining, it was less the following weekend. The reception and dining staff were all very helpful and polite.

We stayed at the Canto for one night. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but when we arrived we were shocked by how small the rooms were. I mean if you are one person with a backpack or a couple with a small carry on it might work but we had a few large suitcases and it was impossible. They gave us a slightly bigger room but it was still too small and there were no windows in this new room. The breakfast was great, the location was central in Rio Vemelho but it the hotel is situated on a steep hill so good luck with your rolling bags getting out of the Uber. The rooftop pool is cool but also super small. Overall not the best experience but they were nice enough to refund the 2 nights that we didn’t use.

The hotel is located in a quiet street but just 2 minutes walk from there you’ll find a small square with restaurants and bars. I liked the fact that the hotel has a great design and that it’s very clean. The breakfast was amazing composed with delicious fresh products. When it comes to the room there is a window but it gives into the back of the building and face another room (1 meter of separation only). You don’t get any daylight because of that. But if you’re out most of the day, you can do without daylight. The other thing is that although the tap water is not drinkable, you only get 1 welcome bottle on arrival and then you have to pay a crazy high rate for 50cl of water. The fridge is full so forget about storing your own! My other complaint is some of the staff members: the man who does at the service at the pool was great and so were the ladies who serve breakfast and the cleaners, and even the security guards! But 2 of the receptionists had an attitude. One literally rolled her eyes when I told her I didn’t speak Portuguese and during my stay she was talking to me like an idiot. Another one, spoke behind my back to her colleagues every time I was passing in front of them. Their attitude wasn’t professional and if I would ask a question in English, they would look at me like I wanted problems. Anyhow, it’s a nice hotel but at least you know the pros and cons to prepare your trip.

Barulho invasivo e desrespeitoso

O principal ponto focal de um hotel deve ser o conforto na dormida, mas com o nível de barulho neste estabelecimento se tornou impraticável exercer um cochilo. No final de semana que nos hospedamos, foi realizado uma festa na rooftop do hotel (2 andares acima) que causou um barulho dentro do quarto ensurdecedor, extrapolando toda e qualquer falta de senso e respeito com os hospedes. Precisam decidir o ponto focal do negócio: ser um hotel boutique ou casa de festas. Me senti em um Hostel com festa dentro dos quartos e não em um hotel 4 estrelas.

Ne vous faites pas avoir par les jolies photos et l'ambiance pseudo chaleureuse qu'elle dégagent. Il n'y a pas vraiment de réception, l'accueil est assez froid et on vous demande de remplir par vous même un formulaire en ligne pour vous enregistrer en étant très insistant bien que le lien ne fonctionne pas... Ensuite, la chambre est très petite, une sorte de bloc entre 4 murs et SANS fenêtre ! Cette particularité n'étant AUCUNEMENT mentionné dans l'annonce. Seules quelques chambres possèdent des fenêtres. Lorsqu'on en informe la réception (qui ferme à 19h lol), on vous répond que c'était spécifié dans l'annonce... mais en fait non ça ne l'est pas ! Le service est inexistant et n'espérez pas vous prélasser à la piscine après une journée passée à visiter Salvador, elle ferme à 17h car l'hôtel préfère recevoir des clients extérieurs sur son "rooftop"... clients qui tardent à venir... L'hôtel vous dit que vous aviez prévenus de cela... C'est vrai mais une fois la réservation effectuée et payée et non annulable... je passe sur les détails de la chambre où les WC n'ont pas d'intimité et une chasse d'eau défectueuse... et le lit pourrait etre bien plus confortable... sachant qu'en plus, il y a la musique du "rooftop"... bref, cet hotel est une blague. on trouve mieux ailleurs, mloins cher et plus confortable...

O canto hotel se diz um hotel Boutique, se utilizando de decoração nos quartos e mostrando um restaurante e rooftop. Os quartos são do tamanho de um ovo 19 M o casal luxo e outro com 23 M o superior porém com banheiro aberto e sem janelas, ou seja se vc não tem problemas com isso , o valor da diária a 722 reais é um absurdo pelo que é oferecido. As fotos não condizem com a realidade dos quartos , pois não cabe as malas e olha que uma era média e outra pequena e duas mochilas de costas. Outra coisa para quem curte quarto sem janela é o lugar certo. E nenhuma dessas informações temos na descrição do hotel, se vc quiser uma boa noite de sono leve tampões para os ouvidos e venda para os olhos pois no teto a luz de alarme de fumaça pisca a noite toda. O quarto final 1 é virado para a rua e a vedação é horrível, cada freada ou carro com som alto o quarto treme. A piscina é minúscula, o papel higiênico ofertado de pessima qualidade. O atendimento dos funcionários é ÓTIMO, mas a estrutura física não vale o preço. NÃO RECOMENDO por 722 reais a diária tem coisa muito melhor em Salvador. Do que dormir num ovo sem local para malas . Perfumaria com decoração vc acha coisa melhor. Fora o barulho pois a vedação é horrível.

qto lindo e pequeno encima de um restaurante

Gostaria de ter sabido disso antes: os quartos são muiito pequenos, sem janelas, a ponto de ter q fazer um upgrade no checkin para poder entrar com as malas. Não corresponde a foto q consta no site. Lá fala em 13m2 porem tinha menos de 10 . O qto q troquei eu medi e não tinha nem 13. No site diz q tem 23. O restaurante não estava funcionando apesar de ser véspera do feriado. O roof top estava com uma festa particular então não pudemos usar. Tb tinha acabado o sabonete liquido da Avantim e não tinha pra repor. Tb fiquei sem. No mais a decoração é linda, o café da manhã é ótimo. E achei bem simpatico terem deixado dois brigadeiros no qto coo boas vindas. Porém confesso q fiquei decepcionada pq pelo valor da diária (mais de mil reais) tem melhores opçoes em Salvador com mais estrutura. ah tb tive problema de comunicação com o hotel... Não funciona whats nem telefones ... foi uma estadia cheia de "senões"
