"Clean room that requires maintenance. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Tub faucet and shower head loose. Drain guard had fallen off of the sink drain. Beds were comfortable. Family friendly games were fun and pool was well heated. Great beach access and generally quiet. Front desk was not staffed adequately. "
"I've stayed at Cambria Pines many times over the last 30 years. This was the first time I did not book direct. At check in I was told breakfast was not included as I booked thru a 3rd party. The girl was pretty snotty about it. The rooms they put aside for 3rd party bookings are in the building across the street. They are dingy and worn out. Wind blinds don't work. Baseboards water damaged and not repaired. Wall plugs that my connectors just fell out of. Holes in wall patched and mismatched paint. Extremely out dated.
No fridge or microwave in room. Front desk informed me "those rooms don't come with them, call your booking company".
If they want to treat the 3rd party booking customers as pariahs, maybe they shouldn't sell rooms to them.
We had a lamp that didn't work ,(at desk), it took 2 days and 2 requests to fix it. I stayed 4 nights. I requested housekeeping for the 2md day, texted desk at 7:12 am and they responded at 7:13 that they would forward to housekeeping. I got back to room at 3:15 and room was not cleaned. Housekeeping didn't have me on schedule. I texted front desk and was told I needed to call my request in.
Never again will I stay at this property. "
"I had a really lovely stay at FogCatcher Inn. The property is quaint, peaceful, and has that classic small-town charm that makes Cambria so special. It’s directly across from Moonstone Beach, which made morning walks and sunset views absolutely beautiful. The location is a huge plus.
The room itself was very clean, which I really appreciated, though the property does feel a bit outdated in places. Parking was easy and stress-free, and the overall atmosphere is super quiet and relaxing, perfect if you’re looking to truly unwind. They are also absolutely pet friendly, which is a huge bonus.
That said, the WiFi could definitely be stronger, and the amenities are fairly minimal. But if you go in expecting a coz stay rather than a luxury hotel, it really delivers. Overall, a charming spot in a beautiful location. I’d absolutely stay again.

"Geat people, lovely location and very clean modern rooms. Because of the remote location the TV qualty was not clear and stations limited. But the view makes up for it!!"
"It was perfectly ok exactly what $97 a night will get you
No frills no AC and very basic yet lovely
The staff was extremely friendly the carpets less than desirable but wear slippers and don’t mind the fact that it’s pretty old it’s almost charming in its own way we brought a mattress topper and I would recommend bringing better pillows but all and all it was fine almost an adventure lol the restaurant is way overpriced especially for the food quality but it’s fine for a quick small bite
Love you can park your car right outside your door if your on the bottom floor but don’t know what people do at all hours of the night walking above us anyway I wouldn’t any more lol "
