There is something very magical about Souly Lodge. You expect service, cleanliness -which was 10/10 btw. But the sense of openness, freedom and nature. Wow. To walk out of our lovely (upmarket with a super comfy and large bed) and sit in our veranda just metres from the Arabian Sea with the roar of the waves and an empty white sand beach as far as your eye can see. Where else in the world. It was just fantastic. For the last three days of our Oman trip we moved (pre booked) to a very expensive resort hotel closer to the city and all we wanted to do was go back to Souly Serenity. Don’t hesitate, there really aren’t many places left in the world like it. Thank you Souly

If you like a get away from it all hotel then this is the place for you! It's like being on your own private desert island. (But don't go if you like pools, gyms, kids club!!) Huge rooms, lovely staff and very deliciously simple and well cooked food. Amr and his team were so friendly. Very many thanks.

An amazing experience that has to be tried!! A really good getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Peaceful and serene with your own beach hut overlooking the ocean. Cleanliness of the rooms and beach could really be improved though to enhance things. Service we felt was lacking in areas and the WiFi doesn’t extend into the rooms. A few extra activities needed and more staff/better service really should be offered for the price.

Als wir die Bilder im Katalog sahen, waren wir so fasziniert, dass wir sofort auf unserer Rundreise 3 Nächte im Souly Eco Lodge gebucht haben, aber als wir dort waren, war es ein voller Reinfall. Der erste Eindruck war, total unaufgeräumt und schmuddelig und so hat sich das auch bewahrheitet. die Zimmer hatten Zeitschriften von.... anno dazumal, diese waren mit einer Staubschicht überzogen und so auch das ganze Zimmer, war froh, dass die Bettwäsche wenigstens frisch und unbenutzt war. das Zimmer roch nach Holzfarbe, oder Holzöl, aber nicht frisch, sondern nach Gift, mir wurde es nach kurzem Aufenthalt im Zimmer schlecht, konnte kein Auge zutun. Die Bedienung im Restaurant, hatte ein T - Shirt an, wo man die Speisekarte der ganzen Woche drauf sehen konnte. Wir sind dann am nächsten Tag abgereist, anstatt die drei Urlaubstage zu geniessen.

Unique and special stay

Really fantastic unique stay at Souly Ecolodge. Warm welcome from the owner and fantastic service throughout our two night stay. You won’t regret booking a stay here and waking up on the beach every day. Have never stayed somewhere as unique as this. Wifi is available in the reception, but you really don’t miss having it in the rooms. Well worth a visit and the area in Oman is beautiful. Nice local tips too from reception
