"Lovely helpful staff. The room was clean and we didnt realise they would do our washing up and clean every day which was great. No internet except in the reception which was annoying tho. Great location. Easy walk to the beach and always a taxi avaliable outside. "

" The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, but the rooms are low quality. Very old decor with bits of the wall & ceiling filled in with filler. The air conditioning didn't work. There were exposed wires. Rusty handles. Bathroom shower water temperature was irregular. Bedsheets were old, unironed and they weren't changed regularly. Swimming pool isn't cleaned and hotel guests rarely go in the pool. We had to sometimes ask for towels. The manager says the rooms are fully booked and say they can change the next day, but it didn't happen. This was the same opinion of another guest. Hotel staff are generally nice. The breakfast is decent. The dinner is also good. The hotel food overall is good quality. Santa Maria is around 15 mins walk from the hotel. The road to the hotel is sandy. The environment around the hotel is like a building site. Santa Maria beach is 20-25 minutes walk."

"Very clean hotel with very polite, attentive staff. No elevator which does not work well for 80 year olds. Bed and pillows the worst we have encountered in decades is around the world travel. Both need to be totally replaced. "
