"Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)"

"The stay in Aulnay was deliberate as it was en route and I was pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of my stay but the friendliness and professionalism of Tu . I had the pleasure of eat with him even though I hadn’t ordered the night before and breakfast was absolutely great ! Not a full English but great choice by French standards. Tu was incredibly attentive and interesting and nothing was too much trouble and my stay was great value . Highly recommend Les Noyers if you need somewhere...

"While I was grateful that the room was air conditioned, the shower was very poor. I imagine that it will be similar to those on submarines. In order to operate the shower you were required to push the control button, which the allowed the water to flow for a very limited amount of time, you could just about manage to get wet. Then you could apply shampoo, soap and or body wash. You then were required to keep pushing the button to obtain water to rinse yourself down. Not a great experience."

"Lovely location, near a lake with restaurants, kayaking. Property was lovely, nice pool and amenities. Staff were really friendly, they gave us free ice cream, milk when the shop was closed and extra water. They also let us have a late checkout which helped us out and found me a place to work whilst I was there. Great language skills and a very enjoyable stay."
