"Customer Experience - Alexandra was excellent and went beyond to help. We had an issue with our room and it was resolved very well/quickly and got restaurant reservation / booking every night. The rooftop restaurant has the best view of Valletta and again the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool amazing and sun deck brilliant. "We stayed 6 nights at the Hyatt Regency and can only describe it as exceptional. The location is central and close to the nightlife (which was a bit of a worry as we are not party animals), however we did not hear a peep from outside and we both slept incredibly well. Easy to walk to Sliema and a great location to explore the rest of the island. We had some beautiful meals on Spinola bay, and I enjoyed morning runs along the coast before it got too hot and I felt very safe. The room was much bigger than expected, immaculately clean and felt really luxurious. Having a balcony with a seaview was a real treat. Housekeeping are incredible and it was so lovely to return to a clean room after a busy day of exploring. The rooftop pool was another added bonus. Beautiful views, the pool was warm and very quiet during our stay, no fighting for a sun lounger! We didn't use the indoor pool but it looked clean and relaxing. Breakfast was fabulous every morning with a varied selection. We had access to the Regency Club, however we only worked out where it was on the last day (our own fault as we didn't ask and we were out and about most of our stay) but was a lovely addition to have. The staff have been wonderful, I have never experienced such attentive service at a hotel. Every single member of staff we encountered were friendly, warm and helpful, really going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable."

"Stayed in room 8 was a nice room but it was a mezzanine room (which I knew about before I booked) would be an issue for anyone who wanted to access the bathroom; down a metal staircase during the night, had to leave the bathroom light on to illuminate the stairs that was the only thing, as I said it was well documented in the description before I booked "

"The gentleman at reception greeted us warmly and gave us useful tips for navigating the immediate area near our hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of fruit, pastries, bread, as well as options for omelettes, porridge etc. The building decor was impressive and cleanliness was immaculate. Perfect location for access to restaurants and attractions. Reception staff very friendly and shared much useful information on attractions in the area as well as tips on tours."
