Staying in a property while visiting the Normandy Beach area that had been occupied by Germans for two years prior to the invasion made the experience special. For the price it’s a really good deal. When we were there, the temperatures were mild, but I did not notice air conditioning or heat for this very old building. I would inquire before staying there in the summer or winter months. "An exceptional hotel experience. Paul is a fantastic host with a deep knowlegde of the fascinating artifacts in this almost museum hotel. My kids (20 & 13) that it was the most interesting hotel they ever stayed at. It is an ideal base for exploring the D-day beaches. We would like to return!"
