"We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Lafayette Hotel and Spa. The hotel and its grounds are truly lovely and their staff (shout out to Terrance at the front desk!) is amazing. Their onsite restaurant, The Park Bistro and Bar”, is fantastic as well. The food was very well prepared and beautifully presented. We look forward to returning to Lafayette Park Hotel on our next visit to the area. Thank you!"

"Positives: The location was perfect for us. It was an easy to walk to downtown Walnut Creek where there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Freeway access was very easy. The room was clean and the property well kept. Negatives: The valet parking charge of $35+taxes per night was excessive. There was no other option for onsite parking, so it’s pretty much a mandatory fee. The mattress was too firm for my liking. I tossed and turned all night. All in all I’d stay here again and recommend it...

"I was extremely disappointed with this stay, especially for a Hyatt property and the price paid. I arrived at 5 PM, even though check-in was at 3 PM, and my room was still not ready. "We appreciated the quick grab breakfast options (hot breakfast options available for those with later flights) before hitting the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle runs frequently and takes less than five minutes door-to-door. We were leaving our car and appreciated the gates well lit parking lot."

"Not a great stay. Toilet ran over all over the bathroom and water went through the hallway. Had to be moved to a different room. The next room smelled heavily of lysol or something. Had to be moved a third time to another room. The staff were nice but others staying in the hotel are very loud. My husband and I won't be coming back to this hotel."

"The hotel is not the newest.. that being said the front desk staff were knowledgeable friendly, and thoughtful. The housekeeping staff obviously take pride in their work. The room was spotless with little fancy touches you find in 5 star hotels. The bed was really comfortable. The shuttle service is Lyft so the will take you exactly when and where you want to go and it's covered by the hotel. I wouldn't go there for a holiday but as a stay for the airport, totally recommend!"

"Decent place to stay, super friendly staff, but if they are sold out they can randomly change your booking because you booked through a third party like Expedia, which I did not know. So we paid for 2 king beds, but never got two king beds. If you really want to ensure you get what you pay for, book through them as they do not honor third party bookings if sold out."
