Friendly staff who despite our poor efforts at speaking French made every effort not to make us feel awkward. Our only criticism, and it is a minor issue, is that there was no English type tea! Rooms all had fruit flavoured teas supplied but would have been nice to have had good old English Breakfast tea too! We bought our own locally in the end so didn’t go without! "We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

"Fantastic large room looking toward the Pont du Normandie. Excellent soundproofing. Didn’t hear a sound - and we did have neighbours. No fridge, but there was a safe. Quality toiletries. Large clean bathroom, with separate shower and bath. Furnished balcony. Two quibbles: WiFi was poor at the desk, but fine on the other side of the room. The sink drained very slowly."

"We had a very comfortable stay. These are the positives: ample parking, quiet room (even though our room faced the road), kitchenette in room with necessary crockery and cutlery, comfortable bed, fair sized swimming pool, attentive and friendly staff, walking distance Honfleur centre, Lidle over the road, small balcony with table and two chairs, sauna and steamroom, daily emptying of bins and clean towels. Definitely recommend. "
