"We stayed at the residence for 3 weeks, the staff and the director were very helpful, We are elderly, some of the rooms do not consider this, and this should in my opinion be made available. Hotels.com was useless in resolving our issue, spoke to a supervisor who was useless. plenty to say but did not resolve our problem. my wife and I resolved it by communicating with the directors, who then understood our issue and quickly resolved it. One important issue, the fire alarm was activated one evening around 2230 hrs, there was no emergency evacuation procedure, and this should be resolved, with clear instructions on all accommodation doors, with a larger noticeable procedure in the main reception area. "The apartment was very good value for money. Good soundproofing, adequately equipped kitchenette, comfortable beds, sufficient linen/towels/furniture. Pleasant balcony. Well-maintained pool and breakfast area. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the port of La Rochelle, with Carrefour supermarket and many restaurants. The apartments are a couple of streets away from the port and the railway station - quiet but convenient."

"Our second time at the hotel, we had a family room at the back that opens onto the breakfast terrace. Such a great location and even through right in the centre, not far from a car park to be able to check in with bags. The breakfast was great - home made yoghurt was lovely and the baguettes/pastries from a local bakery were very good! The hotel is very well positioned for Saint-Martin, lots going on with some lovely local shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The hotel has secure storage for bikes which was great as an easy cycle to Le Bois for some beautiful beaches."
