"Parking was great, right next to the hotel, We book a Triple room and this had loads of space. The breakfast was continental, plentiful and all fresh, very happy. We were over to explore the D Day beaches and this hotel was perfectly located for this and especially Gold beach."

"This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

"My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. "Spacious room with working air conditioning, clean and updated bathroom, looks like the hotel has been recently upgraded. The location is perfect, adjacent to the Cathedral, walking distance to all the shops, museums and restaurants. Breakfast was complimentary and it offered large varieties of food. "

"Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr Sauber. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vorm Zimmer. Das Frühstück fällt sehr üpig aus und ist seinen Preis wert. Es wird auch für zukünftige besuche in der Normandie unsere erste Wahl für Übernachtungen sein."
