"Beautifully clean apart/hotel. Rooms in newly decorated condition and facilities spotless. Friendly staff who despite our poor efforts at speaking French made every effort not to make us feel awkward. Our only criticism, and it is a minor issue, is that there was no English type tea! Rooms all had fruit flavoured teas supplied but would have been nice to have had good old English Breakfast tea too! We bought our own locally in the end so didn’t go without! "Stayed 4 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was ok, eggs, bacon pastries and breads. Not always quick to replenish, and toaster broken one morning. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but no other restaurants nearby apart from Mc Donald’s. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking. Dogs seemed to be allowed in for breakfast and 2 were actually sitting on seats at the table being fed meats by their owners!"

"We stayed here as a base for our visit to the beaches in Normandy. We parked at the hotel but the spaces are limited. Good restaurants near by which were walkable. Pizza restaurant next door was excellent. The room we had was on the top floor and were told at check in the elevator did not go to that floor. The desk person took are bags up the last floor. We are an older couple so I do not know if he just it because of age or it was standard. If you have a lot of luggage or need assistance you should write to them."

"The staff at the hotel are all amazing! From a smooth check in to all our questions they were there to help! They even helped us get the bus transportation app up and running for us. The only downside was a slight hum in the room due to ducting in the bathroom. We were so tired from our day that we still slept peacefully! Very central location. Beautiful to stroll along the River right across the street from the hotel. There was a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel making it super easy to bus to the Caen Memorial and the Chateau. Choice of restaurants within a short walk down the road."

"I really don’t want to be negative about my stay at your hotel. Lovely location, nice well looked after buildings and brilliant for a 10 minute drive to the ferry at Ouistreham in the morning. But please get some staff! The service in the restaurant wasn’t brilliant and a few orders were forgotten, my main meal was ok, but arrived lukewarm warm, as if it had been prepared a while before it was delivered. Having just one member of staff, or might have been the owner, I don’t know, booking people in, sorting out payment, showing them to their rooms, serving coffee clearing glasses from the bar and garden, taking food orders, serving drinks and food all at the same time, on their own is the problem I think. Not the staff member. You know how many people will be staying with you, and when they are coming and who they are, so please invest in appropriate amount of staff to aid your customers experience. I would happily stay there again. Please take this review as constructive and not destructive, as it is a lovely hotel, and I did overal enjoy my visit their."
