The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. "A beautiful former monastery. The rooms are lovely and there is a kettle with a selection of teabags and instant coffee. The gardens are lovely. The restaurant looked great, but was fully booked so it is worth reserving in advance if you want to eat there. "

we really enjoyed! There is also a wonderful bar area with outdoor seating overlooking the pretty river with boats parked or going by. So picturesque! Stroll down the river a block or two and you come to the street going up onto the charming town. The street is cobblestoned and VERY steep but a free shuttle bus makes rounds periodically.
