"Room was clean, staff friendly and polite. Buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Hotel is located near to the train station just a short walk and it’s in the centre of Cardiff. Would use again if visiting Cardiff again."

"Firstly can I say the staff were fabulous and very accommodating! It was the hotel itself that’s in need of some tlc. I paid extra for a nicer room, my friend had booked the more basic room so was interesting to see that both our rooms were identical except for the decor. Our room (142) had a horrendous smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom. The hotel must be aware of this as there was a plug in air freshener to disguise the smell in our room but not in our friends room where one wasn’t required. The tv in our room didn’t work. It would switch on but nothing else would happen. I didn’t inform staff as we were out most the day and only stayed one night. Also the shower in our room was scolding hot. I went to wash my hair and eventually gave up as I couldn’t stick the heat. Obviously turned the tap to cold and this made zero difference. Again I didn’t mention as we only stayed the one night. Shame as it had potential to be a lovely stay. Beds were comfy!"
