The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. "I love this boutique hotel group and would stay with them again in a heartbeat. This hotel recently opened and everything is lovely. The rooms are so comfortable, great bed and soft sheets, blackout blinds. We slept really well. Staff are very kind and helpful, definitely ask for recommendations in the area and they are happy to offer suggestions. Breakfast is excellent."

There was laundry available in a separate area downstairs from the courtyard. This was easy to use but busy. Wifi worked well. Couple things to note though: Pull out couch is not comfortable and extra linens were not readily available so no extra duvet covers or pillow cases were stocked until after we made the request. "The Copenhagen Strand is a 10/10! Centrally located and in a very walkable part of Copenhagen. Our breakfast was included and had a huge selection of breakfast foods to start the day off right. The hotel was quiet and had a good view of the main canal. The most important factor though, for us, was as the staff. They were super helpful, friendly, and polite. We felt so welcome and valued as guests!"

"Nice but basic hotel. No proper lock on the door, which I did not like, as a lone female traveller it meant a barely slept. The reception on 7th floor is very nice, the ground floor lobby is not. I was pleased it was only for one night. I would have had to have gone elsewhere if it was for a longer trip."
