I love this place a lot. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was awesome, and everything around there was perfect. I definitely would stay here again, and I would highly recommend it for anyone else Looking for a great place to stay in Galilee.

Way overpriced. Service and people nice but property is not what we expected for 400dls a night.
Highly recommended for couples. French style romantic boutique hotel. Penthouse was beautiful although it seemed that its balcony is not done renovation. Super nice service in all facilities, wonderful breakfast and dinner. Small heated pull which is great way to spend Saturday when everything in Safed is close
At arrival we received a warm welcome, and full explanation about the hotel and spa. The room was clean and very comfortable.
In the evening we had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. There was a wide choice of meat and vegetables, all prepared very well. The same for breakfast.
All are good reasons to return to this Nice place.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful garden to enjoy the views of Galilee from and a delicious breakfast spread. Would definitely go back fro a relaxing stay.

Thank you, it was a pleasure to have you as our guest
Two room suite with 2 bathrooms and a private front yard. Brand new suite and very well furnished. Included fridge, coffee maker, excellent tv, very comfortable bed, exceptional closets. Pool was closed after summer and no jacuzzi, but wonderful spa center for massages. Nice breakfast. Lots of steps to climb to get up to the hotel from parking.

Thank you for your kind words. We hope to see you again in Israel
This is a beautiful play to stay but a long way from the old city of Safed so be aware that you will need to take a taxi or public transport to get there and back to places of interest and for shopping. Also, there are about 40 steps just to get to the front entrance . Our room was nice but not the one that was pictured as in my booking. It was much smaller with a tiny window . Breakfast was the highlight with the lady chef preparing our meal and other patrons one table at a time. The breakfast was bountiful and fresh and we couldn’t finish it all. Overall, I wouldn’t pay the amount I did unless I was given the room that I thought that I was paying for and also because it was a long way from town .

By American standards this is a very mediocre property. Room was clean and large and the help very accommodating but the amenities were so so. The bathroom, Towels and bedding were substandard
Beautiful boutique hotel with art works of French impressionists hanging all over the hotel and cozy perfectly trimmed small garden. Spectacular views around the hotel and across the street. Scenic view overlooking the town of Zefat from the mountain. Close proximity to the central streets of the city, 10 min of driving.
This is a beautiful and relaxing property. It would be ideal for a company leadership offsite meeting. The manager went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. It is also a very nice place for a romatic getaway.

Not recommended.
They gave one of my guests from abroad, the wrong room, which was not clean.
Check in took forever.
Breakfast starts only on 8am, which is very late, and although we paid for it, we didn't eat, because of our itinerary.
NO WIFI!
Room was fine and Shower is good
For my husband and I this was a real gem of a hotel. It is located up on the side of a mountain with wonderful views. It was nestled in quiet gardens with a lovely pool. Our room was small but comfortable. The hotel is decorated in a French decor style. Very relaxing and comfortable.
There is a wonderful restaurant only minutes away by car. To stay here you need a car.
The old town is just a few minute drive but parking is difficult.
We would stay here again
this property has an eclectic assortment of art and decorations , a warm dining area with friendly staff and very nice food for breakfast - we had a nice Shabat dinner where the salads were awesome
the exterior of the property is nicely done and i think would be pleasant in spring and summer - as we were there in February when it was quite cold we could not enjoy it sufficiently
the draw back of the hotel in the face of some nice features was our room - it was tiny , boxlike with faded mismatched curtains and was drafty in the cold weather - quite a disappointment - it might be better if you book a larger room - I don't know as we didn't see other rooms - we had booked the property as it was listed as a 4.2 on Expedia - we would stay elsewhere in the future
Nice hotel, nice decor, a little overpriced, the only thing don't trust the staff with wine recommendation. Staff is accommodating, showers need to be better
Perfectly happy with our stay - with one exception: dinner in the restaurant. The room was great, the service friendly and the pool perfect. Parking was convenient and the path to the hotel was a real gem. The decor is a mix of comfortable furniture and garish prints of French masters that should go in the garbage. But we arrived fairly late and tired so decided to eat at the hotel - big mistake. Starter of bread and dips was lovely, but the main courses were truly terrible and grossly overpriced. Given the various reviews mentioning the food, the management should really get to grips with this. On the other hand, breakfast was perfectly fine with a good selection of cheeses, etc. We would stay again happily but never buy dinner!
Though there were some glitches in waiting for our rooms to be ready, we found the Villa Galilee hotel and staff delightful, well-situated and friendly. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, healthful -- and very tasty (thank Galit). There is a new chef there named Eli Mazor -- with wide experience from Florida to the Bellagio in Las Vegas -- and we enjoyed dinner one evening at their Tzfata Restaurant; the food was outstanding and presentation delightful. This boutique hotel is perfect for people who want to get away (from large hotels) and enjoy the clean air and breathtaking view.
Upon arrival we were greeted however little help provided. Desk staff did not explain or recommend much and no maps. Classic from stayed in was small, dated and needs renovations. Hotel too far to walk to old city. Breakfast was very nice however staff was unpleasant. Hotel has charm however does not equate to a boutique hotel
I have been going to Villa Galilee for many years. It's always for me and my wife a moment we look forward too. The reception by the owners is always outstanding and make us feel at home. Quality and kindness are always at the rendezvous and the breakfast only gets better and better. Looking forward to going back. Bravo! Jonathan R.
First visit to the Villa was a nice surprise, a welcome respite after a long drive north.
The French style bistro was delightful and saved having to go into the town and find somewhere to eat after a long day.
There is an outdoor pool and the rooms are very comfortable. Bathrooms modern and hot water aplenty.
The hotel is highly recommended.
Not a bad place to stay , it reminded me of my father's place

Very nice setting in the Galilee
The hotel is situated on Cenaan mountain in Safed. It faces mount Meron and the view is great. So is the weather in August.
The Garden is very pleasant, lots of seating areas under the trees. But why are there plastic bushes among the flowers and live bushes????
The loby and the floor ground are nicely decorated, like your grand parents salon. But again, why so many plastic flowers?
The room is fine. Not too spacious. Great bed. The bathroom is small, nice shower. I wish the cleaning staff was more thourough in the bathroom.
Breakfast is OK. Not as reach as you find in 4 star hotels in Israel. I wish they buy a new coffee machine. The current one spills coffe all over and the staff don't pay much attention to the mess.
Lovely small hotel with nice views of Zefat. The grounds include a terraced flower garden leading to the entrance. The food in the hotle's restaurant is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Overall a good stay. We were there during Shabbat, which limited dining options (at the hotel and nearby). Front desk staff were pleasant but with only limited information about dining options (particularly since their dining room was closed).
I can't say enough about Hotel Villa Galilee. Tucked into the hillside of the town of Safed, Israel, the hotel is a refreshing surprise. From the warm hospitality as you are greeted at the front desk to the rooms with the spectacular view of Lake Tiberias, every aspect of the hotel was stupendous. Between the hotel's own magnificant retaurant to the spectacular resturant right next door, we did not have to leave the hillside to eat. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

OK, if you are only going to sleep there
When I arrived, there was no one available to check me in or greet me. It took 10 min. to find someone who worked at the hotel. There was also no one with luggage and I had to carry everything to my room myself. While it clearly states that no one under 15 may stay at the hotel on Expedia, there was an extended family from France at the hotel. They collectively had 6 kids under 5. They screamed at the pool for over an hour, and then all through dinner--in a very small dining area. This would not have bothered me if I had expected kids, but I had chosen this hotel for some quiet relaxation.
